Deck Description

I decided to challenge myself by making an edh deck with Mannichi as general. The main focus of deck is to use creatures with firebreathing effects and first strike when using Mannichi's ability to switch p/t. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Deck discussion for I Suddenly Feel Strong

A firebreathing needs Braid of Fire.

All those red mana symbols would really take advantage of a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx.

Stranglehold and Blood Moon are going to cripple some decks and you won't miss a beat.

Extraplanar lens with a imprinted snow mountain doubles your mana and nobody else can take advantage.

Steel Hellkite would wreck face here.

Thank You doctorhydrogen for the suggestions. I don't know how i forgot braid of fire or the shrine. Do you have any suggestions for what to replace for the lens and steel hellkite?

It's an interesting idea, but I think you're missing a few monored 'staples' that could really benefit you:
Fling
Fork
Chaos Warp
Price of Progress
Scrying Sheets (you've got the snow lands already)
Gamble
Madblind Mountain
Valakaut
Sol Ring

Monored tends to really benefit from manarocks too like the aforementioned Lens as well as
Caged Sun
Gauntlet of Power

Might also want to consider War Elemental. Other than Meekstone, I'm having a hard time coming up with things that would benefit your deck style specifically. Consider checking out Doran decks for artifacts, but it's tricky because Doran is in the colors to do a deck like this much more efficiently.

i understand what you are saying. I made this deck mostly because i never seen many mannichi edh decks and decided to try it out. I had some difficulties with building the deck the way it is now. Mannichi would have obviously been easier to build around if it was blue or izzet colors. do you have suggestions as to what to replace for some of the cards you suggested that would benefit most in my deck. without deviating from my "first strike" plan.

Things that aren't doing you any good:
Urza's Engine
Walking Wall
Ironfoot
Greater Stone Spirit
Dragon Engine
Dancing Scimitar.....
Any of the things I listed above would be a good replacement for one of these

There's also a lot of cards that are suboptimal. I think you've got a lot of cards in because they have firebreathing, but you can take care of that with a few cards like Ghitu War Cry or Captive Flame.

You have a LOT of things that give first strike. Too many. You have so many, that you could probably cut them by at least 6 or 7.
Iron Lance isn't very good. Fyndhorn Bow isn't very good. Fit of Rage isn't very good. Viridian Claw isn't as good as sparring collar.

You have enough first-strike-granting things in this deck that you could probably swing everything every-other turn for the duration of the game, but you'd be 100% exposed. A few reusable items that give you what you want will serve you much better, especially with the Dwarfs and Meekstone. You can get a few very hard-hitting creatures through and still have something left over.
