conflagrate and death pits. there are many ways to take a rat thing deck, and i will help as much as i can as long as you are a bit more specific about where you want your deck to go, and what colours etc. i look forward to seeing where this deck will take you. hope to hear from you soon

and pump up cards like overwhelm or such, to give yours "rats" that unstopable factor. also, you could make it into a quick, discarding attacking burning rat thing deck, with cards like megrim, ravenous rats, swarm of rats, underworld dreams, fast mana cards, and burn like conflagrate that can pick off multiple targets. also, cards like death pits of rath, conglagrate, Rite of Flame and Seething Song would cause an audible moan from your opponent, as you kill of all of his creatures via

its should be easy to make a mean rat deck. there are mainly two ways to make it. either you make it plain rats, or you make it partially rats, and partially other interesting creatures. for the second one, you would nees at least 2 conspiracy, and 3-4 ratcatcher. also the colours you choose are very important. if you decide to go with black/red, you could do like what i did with my Shadows in the Flame II deck, with creatures and evil burn tactics. if you choose black/green, you can put in rats

aerial blocker, use cards like Silklash Spider wich can block big flyers, as well as kill them indirectly. for me, i like type 2, which is standard legal. i am not to profess with sets earlier than kamigawa. another card you could add if you wanted to make it a pumped rats deck, add gaea's anthem. for 3, it is awsome.if you want me to help formulate a deck for you, give me a reply at one of my decks, probably shadows in the flame. i will be checking it regulary. Good luck. ; }

keep to one main theme throughout your deck. in this deck, there is life gain, destruction etc. rather keep it simple and viscious. for me, i would go for the rat theme, with the ratcatcher and conspiracy. then, have cards that will get rid of opponents stuff, like global destruction, e.g damnation or plague wind. or, you can continously attack with rats, and make up your green side with pump up spells to hurt as well as depress your opponent. take out giant spider. if you want something as an

what you could do as a startegy, is to add to add some conspiracy (timeshifted), which when it comes into play, you choose rats. then add some more ratcatthers, which allows you to search for any one of your creature, as they are all rats. take out the springs, as one must not have cards that just cause lifegain. rather have cards wherby life gain is an afterthought like consume spirit. you can now also add swarm of rats which would get visciously pumped due to conspiracy making everything rats.

this, i am sure would work. it is not as budget as i would have liked, but the cost is not very bad. if there are any suggestions for this deck, they would be welcome. also, if anyone knows of other web cites that are cheaper than MTGmintcard, if it is possible.
Many thanks

what ya think? i hope it works now. it looks as though it would work, but what could the big finishers be, the creatures that would kill the opponent after glaring his creatures? would it be wise to drop some stuff to put in cards like simic sky swallower? any help in giving this deck some direction would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
