Deck Description

This is my standard deck. It's mid-ranged but once it gets up and moving it is really quite quick. The basic idea is to draw and scry into whatever you need. I got all of these cards from opening packs in drafts and trading.

I got the original idea from a draft strategy I read online for Khans called Durdling. If you google it, you should be able to find the page. I would draft five color stall/draw and slowly build up and overrun my opponents.

I found that sultai was the best for this type of play and thusly I built this deck.

How to Play

Basically, you want to get out blockers early. Don't worry too much about keeping them alive, once you get rolling it shouldn't be an issue. Use cards like Taigam's scheming and Sultai Soothsayer to get whatever cards you need, when you need them and toss cards into the graveyard for delve.

The main idea is to have a really effective hand advantage throughout the entire game. Especially late game when your opponent is in top deck mode. If you play dig through time of treasure cruise late in the game your options have increased immensely and you can usually use that over power your opponents.

Ashiok is fantastic in this deck, he's so cheap and he can control the game. He removes cards from your opponents deck that they may need and takes them for you. I have yet to need his ultimate as he is so controlling without it. If you were playing against a deck that also has a lot of draw spells then it may be more useful, but generally I stay with the +2 and -X abilities.

Drown in sorrow is amazing in certain situations. It clears the opponent's field early game (keeps most of your creatures alive, as their toughness is generally above two).
