yeah... its kind of a hodge podge id kill for ways to speed it up and/or make it work...
ajanis only works if you strive it on both nest and guard while i only need to shield nest it was a judgement call based solely on manna. but i will have to reconsider it. do you think the deck will last long enough to set that shenanigens off though? i would need to have everything out and 6 manna to cast into that combo...
the loop for the inf hornets requires Midnight Guard, Setessan Tactics, and Ajani's Presence (which i substituted for Ephemeral Shields cuz i had them and its cheaper manna wise). and the plan was NOT to cast anything with a manna cost greater than 4 while still having the option (with convoke) if necessary.
Yeah it was hard to stay on budget...but imagine if you will Cloudshift on Flickerwisp, Phyrexian Revoker, Cathedral Sanctifier, or Lone Missionary.the plan was to cast one after the other for a 2 card detain and 4 life.
I found an interesting combo with Psychic Surgery...Riftsweeper.It would be a dead draw if you drew it before Psychic Surgery, but if played in order its a cheap shuffle.Unless of course you NEED the card to stay exiled...
How do you feel about Void Stalker or Vortex Elemental instead of Serene Remembrance?
actually i think you might have that backwards. they MAY search and shuffle. its a land destruction with at best another shuffle. (at least as it would play in the deck)
