sorry, only saw a couple cards today and thought I'd make a deck.

Fair enough. Keep an eye out for those, though. They can really make the deck a whole lot better.

Just don't keep an eye out for angelic benediction.

btw, check my deck out if you get the chance:

Use 4 Finest Hours. 5 Combat Phases in one turn is amazing.

Replace Birds of Paradise with Noble Hierarch

that is a very good point but does it stack like that? and I like having both in there just so I always draw one :D

0

yes, the additional combat phases stacks. but you will only untap after the first one.

I've looked up on the rulings and there is nothing saying it stacks, it clearly say on the the card

'Whenever a creature you control attacks alone, if it's the first combat phase of the turn, untap that creature. After this phase, there is an additional combat phase'

Am I just miss reading? just the part where it says 'if it's the first combat phase of the turn'

yes.. if you have 2 finest hour, when you attack in your first combat phase, with only one creature obviously, it triggers both finest hour, which say "an additional combat phase" so you get 2. but only untap after the first.
If the finest would say "a second combat phase" that would be a totally different history.

Ah thats cool :) I don't see the need in more than two in the deck though, by the time I get one out I hope to have won lol :)

sorry about the late reply dude but nah, I actually realy hate the card, its all about the first turn drops and coming in tapped realy ticks me off hahaha

It provides all three colors of mana you need, though. I love it, and I run 4 in my Exalted.

I've always wanted to run Bramblesnap in an exalted deck, but I've never gotten my hands on more than the one Bramblesnap I have :(

The idea is to attack with only the Bramblesnap, Bramblesnap will get all the +1/+1's from all the exalted and then you tap all the exalted to Bramblesnap's ability to give it more +1/+1's :p

You could probably find something to replace Flurry of Wings, you never want to attack with more than one creature so you wont be casting it on your turn. In addition, you have no real use for a bunch of tokens (other than blocking) because again you only attack with one of your creatures each turn. You could add some white removal like Swords to Plowshares, or maybe Distortion Strike or Vapor Snag. Hope this helped, I've got an exalted deck too if you want to take a look:

How weird, I commented on your deck like seconds before you comment on mine. Yeah I know what you mean but with the pridemage and the avenger plus O ring I think all the removal is pretty covered. Also with sublime angel out giving everything exalted, the bird tokens just stack and stack and stack. so loads of bird tokens is happy times haha

Hi! I have a very similar deck with exalted also. Why didn't you considered angel benedictions? They give you control on what creature can block yours. I know birds can be really useful, but they lack the exalted rule >_<. Finaly, why not ussing the Cathedrals of War? They come tapped, but they have exalted. Consider that.

Well that's it, if you could check my deck I would appreciate it, feel free to comment: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=358835

Ah I like angel benedictions mate but I think its too heavy for what it does, it only taps creature, which isn't that much of a deal when, with any luck my attacking creature will be huge lol and manly have flying.
as for the land, I like it but its too slow, I like my trun one drops like birds or the noble so I can drop a mana 3 turn 2. Thanks anyway bud!

I really love this exalted deck. The good thing about the Exalted ability is you could only attack a single creature while pumping them and have a bunch of blockers at the same time. This deck is pretty solid, nice job.

I've played exalted, when Alara was standard & I loved it, but it was helpless against strong mass control decks, no matter how good the sideboards was...

I've played 3 Angels & 3 Rafique, 2 Hour, 4 "Path to Exile", 3 Stoic, ...well, I can't remember the whole :) ...

Anywayes... ...check out my "Havenfire" deck at top decks! It will not be standard starting tomarow & I'm sad about it, 'cuz I haven't lost a game with it during 3 times on fridayes...

Ah I see what you mean, its not very often that I run in too board wips though within my group of mates haha, there is Faith's Reward which I could side board to counter such things?

Yeah I totally over looked path to exlie lol, thanks for the help man, I'll give your deck a look :)

exhaulted looks like a really cool deck idea. the first thing i noticed as well as poet it seems was mass control, like board wipes such as Day of judgement. and maybe against a U/W delver. i could see him bounce your creature for days. i guess im not quite sure how to fix that and/or if you even come across those problems.

if you or anyone wouldnt mind taking a look at my W/r humans that would be much appreciated!

yeah man I hear that. board wips can be a pain in the ass. Its not that often I come across them though within my friends group, but as I said above I'll get my hands on a couple of Faith's Reward to counter that problem and stick them in the side board :) thanks for the comment man.

What about adding Cathedral of War? It's a land with Exalted from M13. Is you get a chance, please check out my Exalted deck. If that deck doesn't work for you, please feel free to check out any other decks that I have posted.

yeah, see you're not the first to say that. the only problem I have with it is that it comes in tapped (which I love my one mana drops) and then it doesn't tap for a colour, so compared to the cathedral, I'd rather drop a creatue with exalted than a land that could cripple my creature drop rate. if you get me?

and sure will mate.

thanks for the comment :)

Tricks of the trade or distortion strike would be great. The downfall of exalted is good blockers, so an unblockable creature pumped to 15/15 is insane. That's how I won two headed giant last week, but I used a hamletback Goliath instead. Same idea, I would imagine. Hope this helps

I love the idea and distortion strike is a really good card for it, just I don't really know what to take out for it. any help there? haha

How about you put a few in the sideboard, and after a few matches if you ever think "I wish I could trade this for a distortion strike...." Do so after the match :)

If I was going to attack with something, make it worthwhile. Predator Ooze is good with a ring of Kalonia

0

yeah I see your point mate, but at full strength even the birds of paradise would be a 15/15 double striking, life linking, two combats in a turn dick hahaha. I personal like the unblockable idea above, thanks anyways mate.
