I agree. It's difficult to run both Ball Lightning and Groundbreaker and make it effective. Stick with one and work around that card.

Primal Forcemage is a good idea! I'll give that a try. Thanks!

Without liquid metal coating, your green spells are pretty much useless. Try adding in Beast Within. It can destroy any permanent, you just have to deal w/ a 3/3, which a lightning bolt can easily take care of.

How'd you come up with 38000+ dmg? Plus, the creatures that come into play on turn 6 can't even attack that turn due to summoning sickness.

You can throw in a couple Harmonize since you won't be having any problems w/ mana.

Nihil Spellbomb is kinda counterproductive if you'll be using Keening Stone and Haunting Echoes. Also, the Isochron can only be used w/ Twincast.

You can prob throw in a few Trapmaker's Snare for the archive traps. And maybe a couple Elixir of Immortality for good measure.

If you want to make better use of the Isochron, you can throw in a few counters or bounce (like Into the Roil)

Really like the deck, very good synergy. Also like the name of the deck too.

It needs a few more lands. Replace some of the higher casting cost cards with lands.

Tolarian Winds can't be used to target an opponent, it only works on yourself.
I have a similar deck and I tried Bloochief Ascension, I find it a little slow because basically a Liliana's Caress does the job without any counters. Since this isn't really a mill deck, it might be better to use something else.
Some suggestions: Blightning, Burning Inquiry, Wistful Thinking

Mana acceleration would help this deck a lot. Your mana curve is really high. Also, without Elvish Piper, the deck may fall apart, you may need some other methods to put stuff into play.

Nice deck. I got to like 40 life in 3 turns in one of the draws, except I didn't have enough mana to cast the Sovereign yet.

93 cards with 18 lands? Hmm... not sure how that's gonna work.

Untamed Might, although tempting, will actually slow down your deck. e.g. To give your creature +3/+3 using Untamed might will cost 4 mana total, BUT you can achieve the same thing with Giant Growth, which only costs one mana.

I would also take out Virulent Swipe. All your creatures have infect with the exception of the mana producing ones, which should only be used for mana anyway.

Ichor Rats = awesome
Hand of the Praetors = awesome

Throw in a couple Throne of Geths for fun too.

Your deck isn't done yet right? Cuz you only have 41 cards w/ 6 lands. Vines of Vastwood is an awesome card. You may want to throw in some Birds of Paradise for mana acceleration.

I have a similar deck, but I don't play standard and I splashed blue, so I have access to some other cards. If you wanna check it out, here's the link.

I don't think the Assassin is necessary, since you have Lightning Bolts and Terminates. In place of the Assassin, maybe put in some cheap chump blockers, or more cheap burn.

I'd stick to 2 Painful Quandary only, it's kinda heavy on the mana. And by that time, the opponent shouldn't be at much life. Usually when I play w/ my Megrim deck, it's mostly one turn kill, so Painful Quandary might be a bit slow for this deck.

I'd actually put in 2 MORE lands so that you don't run into the problem of having no lands.

Yes, return creatures or permanents to ppl's hands in case they get by your counters.

Might get land screwed with only 20 lands. Also you have no 1st turn plays.

My friend owns a green/black infect deck and wins in 3-5 turns on average. Maybe you need some bounce to deal with creature heavy decks.

You may run into tons of trouble with creature decks or burn decks. You most likely will not be able to mill 60 cards before you die. With creature decks, you'll just get overwhelmed. With burn deck, if they kill the crab, then you lose a lot of momentum. I don't recommend using Mind Funeral because it's 3 mana for, on average, 7-8 cards (I calculated it). It's better to use Tome Scour, the ratio is better. Perhaps you can take out a few of those cards and put in some counters or removal and give that a try.
