oh okay thanks for that. so then i think by that note, i think my suggestion is still a much better option for heavy damage in a single turn.

for a threat commander like that, i would predict 101% of the time your commander goes in play, it would not last a turn. plus with a 8-mana commander, it'll be hard to cast it the second or third time.just some suggestions so hope it helps you think, if you're into your commander damage. - i would replace my creatures with mana ramps abilities such like elves (titania and the like)- i would first do your Step 3 then Step 2. so i would fetch the reliquary tower early either by sylvian scrying or expedition map and the like (or add artifacts such as spellbook). so the every time the commander comes to play, i would make sure i can kill at least one player at a time. (7 lands is enough to kill a player right i presume?)- i'll add ancient tomb, temple of the false god such lands (or artifacts like dreamstone hedron)

dunno if this is a modern or legacy deck so i'll just throw in some suggestions. moment's peace instead of fog, (sensei, scroll rack, sylvian library), (quicksilver amulet, show and tell). if you're sole depending on descendant's path why not make it a set of emrakuls?
good one. maybe i would replace rain of tears and stone rain with rancid earth, pillage or choking sands for extra abilities. since it's a 2-color deck you can cast it easily. maybe replace also willow with a set of pardic miner for turn 2 delay. replace dragon hatchling with magnivore since midgame is your game. (maybe browbeat for fireball for damage/draw and great with recoup with just 5mana)
maybe replace psychic membrane with wall of blossoms or wall of mulch
how about fervor or concordant crossroads?
ok then maybe add the vent sentinel, get overgrown battlement + helix pinnacle if it's cheaper. and maybe tinder wall or orochi leafcaller. the important thing is you may want to add some other threat to your opponent rather the only single axebane guardian.
so, i'll just have to save 2 counterspells for your fireballs? you should at least use banefire instead if that's the only winning condition in your deck..
ok. i mean the vigor creature. i just thought of slime coz i play edh too like this one and it's essential for me to have at least 5-6 artifact/enchantment destroy. every opponent i play there's always an artifact threat especially jithe and fire and ice. so that's why i thought of acidic and maybe mold shambler. hope it helps. and maybe elvish harbringer and worldy tutor if you want some elf search in your deck. =)elvish aberration for forestcyclinghope it helps =)

if you already have cards in your deck then this is good. maybe a little creature delay like moat and propaganda and maybe fabricate and you're good to go =)
sliver legion? worldy tutor? living wish? i would say cards like regrowth or reclaim or even animate dead coz i know there some valuable sliver abilities you might want to retain when it's gone. cut some slivers. as for me i would focus on sliver abilities like pump, destroy, life gain, flying, protection, legends (poison?) discard the rest and make room for some spells
penumbra wurm, cloudthresher, overrun?, acidic slime?, tornado elemental, vigor? maybe some eldrazi if you can cast it.
