I decided to put all my vampires in the same deck. It's actually just a Red/Black deck. The white is a single card with B/W option mana that functions as black in this deck.
It's still a usable deck without him, but if you can get one of the Stromkirk Captains on the field, all of the other vampires get first strike and +1/+1. And you've got a playset of him, so if you get one, get him out there ASAP. Even if you lose him, you've got an ever increasing chance of getting another one. If you can put Gift of Orzhova on Stromkirk Captain, he becomes a 3/3 with first strike, flying, and lifelink. That makes him pretty difficult to get rid of--especially for only needing four mana and two turns to pull it off..If you're battling someone who uses any lifegain, the Needlebite Trap does 5 damage and 5 lifegain for one mana.
