LOOK THERE IS A NUMBER OF WAS TO MAKE IT BETTER, FIRST OFF TAKE OUT WALKING ATLES AND TRAUMATIZE, THERE NO GOOD... IF WANNA GO ALL BLUE USE JACE (EATHER ONE), AND TIME WARP,... THE IS A WAY TO GET THE INFANENT LAND FALL QUICK LIKE WITH G/B/W, ... IT WOULD BE A FEW CARD COMBO BUT UNLIMITED MANA AS WELL AS DRAW AND DAMAGE ONCE YOU GET THE 3 CARDS IN PLAY ...

ad jaces remov ethe kraken hatchling useless add white for path to exile and othe removal and wall of denial

you aren't going far with this... standard is too fast for you and casual kitchen table has bgger cardpools than onkly standard
so basicly i would really be amazed if this wins from any deck...

I think a lot of you people missed the point that its a type2 mono blue mill deck and its not a bad one either.
4x Traumatize is kinda much. I would say pull 2 of them and add 2 Jaces(Jace Beleren or Jace, the Mind Sculptor would work for this deck). Also with the amount of mana and the fact that your rocking a nice landfall combo u might wana check out Mind Spring(If you go for "Jace Beleren" mind spring wont really do as much since he helps you draw). And lastly Twin Cast could be very potent in this deck.

Hope that helps.

i'm planning on making a mill/discard deck. what i'm wondering is how are you gotta stop all thee waves of creatures? i'd splash another color in and throw in some removal..

It looks like you're relying on Tideforce Elemental and Hedron Crab to do the work while playing those fetch lands and Walking Atlases. As far as blue goes, I'm not sure what else you could do to slow down the opponent, but maybe Aether Tradewinds could help you. Return a land you control to your hand, and a creature that is attacking you, enchantment/artifact that's getting to you/whatever. Then you could re-play your land for more landfall. Being mono-blue, there aren't many more things you could do to make landfall work better, so I'd suggest going a little green to speed up landfall with Explore and Harrow. I was actually playtesting a blue/green ally mill deck and could make the opponent lose 15 cards in 1 turn, with 1 Hedron Crab. Tell your friend it might be worth looking into, but as it is now, it just needs some tweaks. And yeah, 4 Traumatizes is a bit much.

Thanks for the comments! Right now with the perfect draw I can deck some one out on turn 4. Usually though it's closer to around turn 7. While I agree that 4 traumatize may be a bit much, I often get the kill by double casting them. I may want to drop them down to 3, and find a way to squeeze in the twin casts. Right now the walking atlas pull the least weight, but every now and again they do shorten the combo by a turn. Otherwise they are just a chump blocker. I appreciate the feed back.

My wife and I built a Mono Blue Mill deck as well. We dont have the options for Jace Beleren or Jace, the Mind Sculptor, but so far we've come out pretty nicely. I have to agree with Mario, running 4 Traumatize is a bit too much, since after the first couple times, they remove less than Archive Trap's solid 13 card removal. Right now we're running 3x Trauma and 4x Archive Trap, since "tutoring" has become increasingly popular among almost all other colors, (yay 0 cost). At first, we were running the walking atlases as well, but we pulled them out completely because they werent pulling enough. We're running 4x Mind Spring and 4x Divination, along with 2x Spellbook (so you dont have to drop your mill cards).

Since it seems like you might need a bit more creature control, outside of 4x Cancel, try adding a couple Gomazoa (Zendikar Set: 0/3 Flying,Defender out for 2U with [T] Put Gomazoa and each creature its blocking ontop of their owners' libraries, then those players shuffle their libraries.) in for a couple of the Walking Atlas.

If the Landfall Idea is another solid focus, try running Roil Elemental for more creature control:
Zendikar Set 3/2 Flying out for 3UUU. Landfall-Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, you may gain control of target creature for as long as you control Roil Elemental.

Also in regard to landfall, perhaps try Terramorphic Expanse instead of your other nonbasic lands, since it doesnt cost life to do the same land-searching. Though with TE the mana you search comes into play tapped.

Hope this helps, have fun.

P.S.
Looking at this, We definitely want to add a couple Jace TMS into our deck.

i run a mill deck based around jaces erasure enchantment "when you draw a card you can have target player discard the top card of his or her library" i have a hedron crab in there also i have spellbook but i threw sphinx of magosi in there because pay 2 blue you draw a card put a 1/1 counter on sphin of magosi so i mill and get stronger at the same time :)

Nice looking mill deck. I have a few cards to suggest.

Oboro, Palace in the Clouds is great with crabs and worth running 1 or 2 of.
Ghost Quarter is great because it can trigger an archive trap if they aren't expecting it or in a pinch you can sac your own land to trigger landfall.

Also Dissipate is better than cancel.

Some spellskites could be useful as blockers and to protect your crabs. I personally don't like traumatize and would run 3 spellskites instead.

Good luck with the deck!
