Deck Description

A mono blue mill deck with a few different angles of approach.

How to Play

I know we've all seen mill decks before, but this is my attempt at it after collecting cards and ideas for awhile. I usually try and get my crabs and shinx's tutelage working while I set up a defense with fog banks, then just hit them with the big mill tricks like ghost quarter and archive trap, startled awake, or go for the traumatize/fraying sanity combo to win. Either way fraying sanity should be doing some work on your opponent's deck. Used almost exclusively for casual play. Any thoughts on changes or sideboard swaps appreciated.

Deck discussion for The Mind Taker

This looks great, definitely going to give it a try. I'm a lifelong fan of mill decks. Another good combo here looks like activating the ability on the Ghost Quarter and hitting them with the Archive Trap. My biggest issue when using mill decks is they take time and are a bad matchup against aggro. Did you consider adding Chronic Flooding to this?

I had not. It is definitely a good discourager, but I'm not sure what I would replace with it.

Switch Keening Stone for Fraying Sanity. Half the cost, always active. I would also recommend cutting some islands, or other lands, for Field of Ruin.

Those are both great suggestions. Thanks!
