Yoooooooo, I saw. I feel like I swap merfolk secretkeeper out for Ruin Crab. More mill for the sake of 1 toughness. But it's an instant body where merfolk takes 2 turns to become one.

You can cast the merfolk directly but miss a mill.
I'm testing it against some pretty aggro decks at the moment, with a high number of evasion.
Tests shows that only one of them are focussed on being cast as a blocker, while the two other are most frequently just cast for the mill.

Then locate my post about the merfolk secretkeeper.
There will be some data on it there.

all of the land you have side boarded i would main board and i would run the maniac scribe over either the merfolk secretkeeper of the wall of lost thought while both have a little better mill than the scribe the scribe can happen turn after turn adding up to more than all of your copies of the others could manage on their own.

I had moved the lands out for a price comparison and never moved them back. Lol. But you are right scribe is deff better than wall. But I value that extra 1 toughness, it just makes me feels safer within my local meta.
