You've got a good thing going on. The RG shell with black for more control. I think Map the wastes wont do too much for you. I wonder if there are better ways to secure black mana. Try mana confluence if nothing else.Also, note that the black you've put in is almost entirely double black casting costs. You may find things dead in hand quite a lot.The splash, in the case strikes me as rough and also a non-bo with things like the ventmaw as he doesnt actually help you cast very much.
