Thought about it. We would just have to build the decks IRL. Right now they only serve to see what things we can come up with to put on Forge.

Which is kinda broken, because Forge doesnt know how to use some of the cards like Doubling Cube, Pyretic Ritual, Seething Song, etc etc
It just ends up whoever gets luckier on the draw wins. Can't wait to see it IRL though.

A program that has almost all the magic cards and lets you put a copy of any deck you create on here into it and test it before you actually build it and take it out to play against real people. Its currently in Beta and is at 1.4

Just download that, Extract it to a Folder, and your good to go. When you first run it, Youll have to go to the options, into the Content Downloader, and tell it to download LQ pictures of all the cards. It takes a while, but its well worth it.

Cool. Sounds like fun. So you can do any cards? To proxy decks and whatnot?

It has i think 97% of the all cards, I've found very few that it doesnt have. There is a earning system where you can play it to earn cards to play with, Or you can just import any deck you want. What i usually do is Build the deck on MTGVault, export it as a text file, Drop it into forge, play it till i get it working how i want, Then either buy the cards (if im not broke) or Proxy the cards for our casual games.

so i tried instead of saving it, just straight opening it with winzip and it didnt work. will it work with a save file?

Its not a normal installing program, its all ziped up in its own folder. So you need to save the file, Then Unzip it into a folder. Inside that folder there will be Forge.exe. Just run that, Download the LQ card pictures, and you're good.

Oh btw, i think i found out how too use cards like doubling cube and whatever. Under your avatar portrait, there is a little panel with the mana symbols. I righted it out using dark ritual, and you can click on the symbol of reach color to use that mana

It does that with some cards. Hopefully, it was never something that I absolutely needed so I was fine. But, at least you now know what glitches in that deck.
