I play a token deck and to be honest i've gotten much more use out of sprout rather than sprout swarm. especially if you want to beef up your tokens it doesn't make sense that you would tap them to convoke sprout swarm. use regular sprout to get a token in faster and use the other mana for you +1/+1 counters. also no token deck is complete without doubling season. good luck

I don't know sometimes it is useful to be able to your hand and use it again next turn if you are in need of saprolings to sac or block.
