Deck Description

Use Oath of Druids to play something nasty : )

If you don't understand Oath of Druids, I can explain. It says that at the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player MAY choose an opponent that has more creatures than they do. If the player decides to do this, that player keeps revealing the top card of their deck until they reveal a creature. They put that creature into play and the rest of the cards in their graveyard.

I take advantage of this by getting it out there quick and using dirty creatures.

Deck discussion for Oath of Druids

.... Should i point out that your big creatures are all Legendary? And that you have 3 of each in a Oath deck? Trim them all down to 1 each, you don't need to draw them. put in 4 Gaea's Blessing. Your reminisce you can get rid of when you get your Gae's Blessing. And put some control in. some counter spells, foils, fog's w/e. The Inkwell L. IMHO is useless in a deck with such high damaging legendary creatures you already have. put a Blazing Archon to keep from creatures attacking you or w/e.

Well the impression was they are so big, that in just 2-3 attacks I'd win, so really I'd need only one of those 3 to get thrown down and I wouldn't have to search my library for another, but I see your point. I'll mix it up a bit more with other creatures (and I know I don't need to draw them, it was just to reduce the amount of my deck that I'd mill).

Gaea's Blessing is a great suggestion.

I was actually thinking about adding Blazing Archon, seemed effective.

I recommend adding Forbidden Orchard to guarantee that your opponent has more creatures than you. This is especially important if your opponent is playing a creatureless or nearly creatureless deck. Otherwise, a great deck idea.

I really like that idea. And it will help with getting the color mana I need.

first of al l play less creatures
force of will is needed and daze too. otherwise your ath won't live
maximum 2 gaea's blessing 4 is waaaaaay too much
it shuffles itself back in your library so don't be scared.
the miost effective is when you just play 1 emrakul and 1 hellkite overlord/spirit of the night/ akroma but more creatures is more fun.
waaaay too much tutorage!!! in my deck i play 3 tutors and that is allmost never used.
so 12!!!??? way too much. 4 enlightened is enough.

It sounds like your deck stalls the opponent for more turns. The purpose of mine is to get Oath of Druids out there by the second turn, fourth at the latest. You make some good points with some things, but there is a reason for 12 tutors (speed). The way I see it, I'm not trying to draw 1 of 4 Oath of Druids, I'm trying to draw 1 of 16. Catch my drift?
