After purchasing The Mimeoplasm pre-con Commander deck, I was thrilled with the game type I'd heard of, but had never been able to play. Luckily, I entered college, and a bunch of people I met ended up playing (and loving!) Magic, including the Commander format. This is a deck I've been working on for months, and the wrinkles still need ironing, but it is an insanely fun, insanely powerful deck.
It's certainly not the best, and its win isn't always a straight shot ahead. But that's not due to a lack of focus! Because of Savra's abilities, I've scoured the game for some of the best cards I could find to compliment her suicide-black tendencies, with ability to create HUGE life-gain leaps.
Now, I wasn't exactly in the financial situation to purchase things like Bitterblossom, Pernicious Deed, Volrath's Stronghold, Crucible of Worlds, and others in that rather fiscally demanding zone, but I did the best I could purchasing some cards, and fortunately already owning others, like the two Titans.
This deck is my baby, for anyone who enjoys the black/green Golgari-inspired interactions, the Commander format, or Magic in general, I hope you give this deck a shot. It's fun, manageable, and contains some really fun shenanigans.
I do hope someone out there looking for a fun EDH deck will give this one a try; the work put into this deck shouldn't go to waste, and I'm sure other people will have great ideas I've missed or discounted previously. But, now!
