300 cards?! And $3k-$4k?? I know you said this is just a fun deck, but really... are you serious? LOL

Ascetism is a good card but I use Privileged Position so it protects ALL my permanents not just my creatures, and if I'm lucky to get both PP's in play they protect each other as well.
You can try using Ranger's Guile, but it only lasts until EoT.
You can try using Canopy Cover or even Mask of Avacyn, but they only enchant one creature.
Personally, I'd rather go with Privileged Position.

Pretty cool concept. I'll have to test it some time.
Please check out some of my decks and comment on them. Thanks.

Are you certain? Volcanic Fallout states: "Volcanic Fallout deals 2 damage to each creature and each player." I don't think Planeswalkers are considered "creatures".

Nice! I like how this deck works... and it's cheap to build. Nicely done.
BTW, you have 4 Hissing Miasma and 4 Corrupted Zendikon in your deck so your sideboard can't have another of either one. Just FYI. =)

This looks like a fun deck to play. I think I'm gonna build it and see how well it works in my weekly multi-player group.
BTW, you have this deck listed as just white, it has green in it too. =)

Jusr recently I was able to get Cthulhu out by Turn 2.
Turn 1: play Dark Depths
Turn 2: play Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth; cast Vampire Hexmage; sac Vampire Hexmage to remove all counters from Dark Depths; sac Dark Depths to bring out Cthulhu (20/20 Marit Lage).

I agree with manafreak. Plus add more Homing Slivers so you have a better chance at Slivercycling; give you better chances at searching your deck for the Overlords or Legions (or whatever Sliver you need at the time).

Why not use Privileged Position instead of Shielding Plax?
Yes, it costs more (mana-wise and cash-wise), but it protects all your permanents rather than just one.
And if you're lucky to get 2 of them into play, they protect each other so they can't be targetted themselves.

I HATE this deck! Stop playing it against my Hydra deck! LOL
Seriously, awesome deck. Makes me wanna build either a Faerie deck as well, or a deck to counter this one. Nicely done.

Thanks. I play in a multiplayer game every week. I've played this deck only a few times so far and the first two times I did I was able to get my 20/20 creature into play by turn 3!

If you play a multi-player game like I do, you might want to consider using Tragic Poet along with Lich.
Enchant another player, then when that player dies you can use Tragic Poet to return it to your hand and recast it one someone else.

I don't think your deck will do well without any creatures to attack or defend with.
Yes, you're able to make your opponent discard, but then what?

Take a look at my Relentless Rats deck for some ideas.
I used to have Coat of Arms (which also helps your opponents, not just your creatures) & Door of Destinies in my deck, but I pull them out and improved it quite a bit by adding some other useful cards.
