Deck Description

Give your opponent creatures, then make them pay for having them.

Casual deck.

How to Play

Step 1. Play Jackal Pup, Firedrinker Satyr, and Shika Gatekeeper.
Step 2. Give them to your opponent by using Bazaar Trader, Switcheroo, and Legerdemain.
Step 3. Make them pay for having your creatures with spells Blasphemous Act, Searing Blaze, and Shivan Meteor.
Step 4. Use the creatures that you took from your opponent, via Switcheroo and Legerdemain, against your opponent. Usually using their creatures against them deals the final blow.

Impulse and Augur of Bolas finds you the card you need to win.

Remand and Cyclonic Rift gives you control and buys you precious time.

Deck discussion for Jackal Act

ok. so this is an interesting deck. :)
I like donate decks so this looks pretty fun to play.

sadly Firedrinker has the drawback of allowing your opponent to pump it after you give it to them. however, it is still very much a viable card here I think.

a couple of suggestions that I might have would be:
Stuffy Doll, as it just BEGS to be burned with blasphemous act.
Graveyard recursion. at least sideboard. In case you lose your creatures too early to be very useful, you want to be able to bringthem back. I might suggest quest for ancient secrets, feldon's cane, or elixir of immortality.

I see that you are also running Counterspell, and I was curious what kind of spell you are anticipating to counter. if you are looking at something specific you could get a card that is specific to that kind of spell. which I have noticed tends to be cheaper to play because it is less versatile, and cheaper on the pocket for the same reason.

+1! I might consider switching the Legerdemain for Donate since it's 3 cmc instead of 4.
I see you can slow them down with cyclonic rift (hopefully overloaded!), so that's good, as you are digging for your answers with Impulse. You might want to think about adding Augur of Bolas. Not only does he help dig for your sorceries and instants, he pretty much becomes a blocker, giving you more time to draw the right cards.
I have to agree with Kazzong on the counterspell. I might replace them with boomerang or remand. Yes, counterspell completely removes the threat, but, 1) boomerang slows them down even more, as they need to wait a turn to attack for summoning sickness (of course, if they don't have haste) and you bounce it back right when they attack. 2) remand is in between counterspell and boomerage, but replaces itself by allowing you to draw another card. After typing this out loud, I'd have to go with remand, because again, ideally you want to dig and draw your combo cards.
This deck really catches them with their pants down heheheh.

Why I prefer Legerdemain is this: Donate is like the Bazaar Trader...it gives away one of my creatures.
Legerdemain lets me switch!
So if I have a Shield Sphere in play I can give it to my opponent in return for his best Artifact or Creature.
I give him Shield Sphere and I get a Propaganda or a Aetherling or something else really nice.
Ugh, remand is so expensive, but a great card!
But will trade it out.

Whoops! I totally missed that! You get to gain one of theirs. Nevermind. Legerdemain is good in that sense since you can take their wall or something.
Yes, I hate how remand is so expensive. I just like cards that "replace" themselves, like augur of bolas, or wall of omens (of course, you're not playing white).
The mana curve appears to be high at first glance, but you're slowing them down so you can build up your mana base. I was going to suggest high tide, but I think that really should only be for mono-blue decks.

I love High Tide. One of my favorites.
Yes, cards that replace themselves rock.
