Deck Description

A casual Oloro deck. Oloro by itself gain you a lot of life but many cards in the deck can give you life too. This combo well with Oloro ability to draw, but that's about it. To sum it it's an aggro, life gain, control deck.

Deck discussion for Esper Ascetic

Good day, Oloro is one of my favorite commanders next to Thresh. and I have actually made a deck of my own with Oloro. I honestly dont think oona is needed in commander since you can only choose one color while there are usually three colors in an EDH deck, so I would maybe switch that out for Rhox, Faithmender. The second thing I would say is, what about sanguine bond? it goes well with any life gain.

For Oona the fact is it's only a filler for now. The list will be updated at the same time the deck is. I don't like Faithmender as it don'T create another lifegain instance but only double the life you gain, so it don't trigger Oloro ability. As for Sanguine Bond first I don't like the card, second in my circle of players it's dealt with instantly, everytime someone play it. Like I said the list is not final, far from it. I intent to put a Well of Lost Dreams in, probably an Aura of Silence, a Serra Ascendant and a Divinity of Pride. I will lower the casting cost of the deck overall also since it's way too high.
