A homebrew I've been tinkering with involving the synergies of Lotleth and Varolz. Decided to go with a more control route with the addition of Liliana and Deathrite. Looked for a creature that doubles as a discard spell, came up with Black cat, a couple rats, and Slate street rufian but came to the conclusion that they were all kind of conditional discard creatures. Meaning they either had to die or be blocked to trigger the discard. Then I found Shimian Specter, being a 4 drop is kind of a turn off but the effect is far better that the other creature discard spell. The other creatures are pretty self explanatory, Blood scrivener may or may not be finding a new home as he hasn't performed very well in testing. Cant seem to empty my hand fast enough for his ability to trigger. Any comments or suggestions of better cards are appreciated.
