I built this deck as a easy to play starter deck for a 8 year old.I was surprised when it could beat so many of my decks with ease.You can remove "Curse of Predation" if you want the deck to be Modern. I sometimes replace it with Infiltration lens to make it modern.
It is really easy and reliable to play. Play your creatures and be really aggressive."Elvish Mystic" & "Llanowar Elves" generates enough mana for you to speed things up before your opponent can set up his combo/strategy"Heartwood Storyteller" generates major card draws against most decks."Curse of Predation" & "Fangren Firstborn" makes being aggressive easy. Your creatures will quickly grow out of hand."Champion of Lambholt" quickly makes all of your powerful creatures unblockable. This makes for a easy early win."Leatherback Baloth" & "Talara's Battalion" Puts alot of early pressure on your opponent. Either one can be played consistently as early as turn 2."Primordial Hydra" will finish off any opponent that pulls off a miracle and manages to stay alive to turn 7-8."Khalni Hydra" between all the creatures and all the extra mana, Khalni can come out really early FTWModifications:Swap out "Heartwood Storyteller" if your opponent is playing mostly creatures. Swap in a different card that generates draws. I like infiltration lens for draws.You can swap in "Ulvenwald Tracker" if your opponent will be playing creatures with powerful abilities that you need to destroy.
