Deck discussion for grave digging ho

Great looking deck, but there seems to be a consistent problem with getting out lands
Probably because there are only 19. I run 20 in modern Infect

This probably isn't too good of an indication but I tried about 10 sample hands and they were consistent enough with mana. Only due to the mana generators though. If they were to die, he would probably be in some trouble.

A very similar thing happened to me....
Except that I had little-to-no lands, and when I did have one or two I had no mana makers

what do i drop to get that last mana?

For this deck, I'd have 22.
But a Nighthowler and 2 Nemesis of Mortals would probably be best. If just 1 more land, then a Nemesis

Type your deck name...19 seems about right actually. you really only need 2 mana to get to a good start and either a carytid or a mystic in hand as well. hit a salvage take the land hit commune same thing. It runs pretty well with 19

I have a friend with a very similar deck who also runs 19 lands and it works very consistently and he doesn't even run caryatids. Color fixing ends up being the issue more often than having enough mana.

Jarad is also one to think about but he's very color intensive, if you can't hit with combat damage then he can sac nighthowlers and nemesi to finish people. Having a couple of abrupt decays or hero's downfalls would be good too.

Not enough lands.

Okay, criticism over. The Deathrite shamans are great, and in my Deck, Gorgon-zola Monstrosi-cheese (*cough* Check it out *cough**cough*) I had slitherheads. Had. Srsly tho, check out my deck!

This is very similar to a deck made by Conley Woods (called Golgari Dredge even though dredge is not a mechanic in the current standard) which was shared over on channelfireball, should give you an idea for the sideboard :)

Deathrite is only banned in modern. You can check legality of any card using gatherer.
