Should put Athreos, God of Passage in there for further silliness when you Duneblast/End Hostilities

Fun deck; got to love dat affinity. I would sideboard Master Transmuter and maybe Tinker to help get Mycosynth Golem out there faster. Of course, none of it would work if Indomitable Angel was in play, though. :P

"Now this is the law of the jungle, as old and as true as the sky. And the dragon who keeps it may prosper, but the dragon who breaks it must die."

Love the deck. Devour has always been one of my favorite mechanics.

Consider sideboarding Fatal Frenzy and Fling.

I hear ya on wanting to keep it red; Karrthus is just personal preference on my part really as I like to swing immediately. My Dragonstorm variant runs a bunch of dual lands and some artifacts so I can pull out dragons like him if I really need to, but the focus is still on getting the 9+ mana and a hand full of spells to make storm super effective.

Utvara Hellkite is crazy awesome; especially when you pull out 2 and Karrthus and swing immediately, with God knows what else. Next thing you know you are sitting on an army of 6/6 dragon tokens. (Sidenote: I have a single Parallel Lives in my deck as well which creates added hilarity with that card and Dragon Broodmother.)

Best of luck with your deck mate.

If you're going to make a Dragonstorm deck, you might as well have fun with the dragons that you are going to pull out. 4 Bogardan Hellkites to oneshot an opponent is all well and good, but think about sideboarding cards like Utvara Hellkite, Balefire Dragon, and Moonveil Dragon.

Karrthus is also amazing in decks like this.

Tinker is all well and good, but adding Metalworker would make this deck hilarious.

Geosurge is one of your best friends for huge dragons. Using Seething Song to cast Geosurge and putting an amplified Kilnmouth or Balefire Dragon into play is devastating. I also recommend Slumbering Dragon as it can quickly become overwhelming against small creature aggro.

Lightning Greaves is also a great artifact for protecting your Elvish Piper as well as granting incoming dragons protection from removal and haste.

I really, really, really like the combination of Prodigal Pyromancer and Furyborn Hellkite. You may want to add in Kilnmouth Dragon or replace Predator with Preyseizer (the extra damage when tapping to attack is awesome). Fling is also a great addition for any deck running huge creatures. Overall looks to be a very fun deck.

If you still want to keep all that creature destruction in your deck, I recommend swapping Murder for Doom Blade

I've honestly found that Balefire is more effective, although most of the decks I play against are Legacy creature decks. Unless they have some way of bouncing it back to my hand or exiling it (I hate Oblivion Ring, by the way), I can prevent them from doing pretty much anything until I get a Fatal Frenzy and a Fling. At that point I can do 24 damage in a single turn, so it doesn't really matter.

Still, Kilnmouth can come in HUGENORMOUS if you're drawing into the right cards.
