I would not use the skyjeks. Anyway, the impact is probably really not that much.
btw, reprisal seems amazing in this deck. Very good list!

Maybe it would not make so much difference, but i really think you should add some lionheart mavericks to have an one-drop.

what about take off the captains and broodwardens, add +2 low cost changeling creatures, and +2 call to the grave?

is taurean mauler expensive?
and what about some rebels? they can tutor your creatures direct into play.
Maybe you could even use some rebels + crib swap or nameless inversion.

I think 2 Gitaxian probes should do just fine. It has an alternative secondary effect similar to vendilion clique.
You could try -1 mana leak, -1 serum visions +2 gitaxian probe.

the american deck is really fun to play with.
Is the batterskull supposed to be a bomb? Maybe thundermaw hellkite would do better.
And i think u should reduce some 4-of cards to 3 to put some more lands. I think 20 lands isn´t enough.
and it´s really unusual an american deck without cryptic commands... just saying..

take a look at: airborne aid, stormscape familiar (very good with squadron hawk), welkin hawk.

Courier hawk is better than storm crow, but i´d not use any of them. Judge´s familiar is better than suntail hawk, but maybe you could use both.
And in my oppinion, wing shards should do better than lieutenant kirtar.

If u consider a modern version of the deck, sky hussar could be a great addition. Favorable winds should be fine instead of aerie. Stormscape familiar is available in modern as well.
If u consider spend a little bit more, try pride of the clouds.

With that strategy i think you probably wont have creatures in battlefield, so maybe pyroclasm or similar could be a good addition.
but if you intend to use some normal summoned creatures, then you could use nightshade assassin because it´s a blocker and a removal.
trespasser il-vec could be considered as well for a permanent engine. and maybe wild guess and lightning axe too.
murderous redcap is always versatile. if you use call to the netherworld it should be even better.
and i´m assuming you dont have a liliana of the veil to put in..

why not basilisk collar??
with 4 basilisk collar + 4 gorgon´s head, probably the black splash would be unnecessary.
and why not use lightning bolt instead of shock?
maybe mass hysteria could accelerate your strategy and make some pressure.. or not..
and if i should splash, i´d splash blue to gain access to gelectrode and curiosity.

i agree with jessie about the etereal armor... U should take it off. Maybe clout of the dominus as well.
have u considered ardent recruit? additionally i´d put +1 infiltration lens.
stromkirk noble could also be used.
