I see. Just seems to be that you'd be better off with another elf. Greenweaver Druid and Joraga Treespeaker seem like better fits.

Why the Vastwood Animist? You only have 4 allies in the entire deck, seems weird to me.

Considering removing the leyline and fuel for the cause for more effecient proliferate cards. Thinking about steady progress or throne of geth. Any though other ideas?

Also try manic vandal, creature that destorys artifacts when it enters play. You might also want to try some of those red sorceries that allow you to destroy land or artifacts, just in case your opponent's deck isn't very artifact heavy.

Actually I was looking for Ornithopter: I didn't think they reprinted it for M11, but I'm going to add it. Steel Overseer is a good addition too, thanks!

You have a very low mana curve so I think you'll have an empty hand fairly quickly. Consider some card draw. Fleeting Distraction and Divination might work well for you. Also consider cards with more rebound like Surreal Memoir. It'd return an instant for you to cast, and rebound again next turn. Surrakar Spellblade would be nice in this deck as well. Each sorcery and instant you cast will allow you to draw more cards. For longer games you should also try Quest for Ancient Secrets. Just some thoughts.

This is awesome. I was thinking of making an aura deck with gnarlid and spiritdancers but I don't have time this week (damn finals) have you considered eel umbra? I think it's one of the better auras: 2 drop with flash and staying power. Although you're not using a lot of blue in the first place (only hindering light) why not drop blue all togther? You can consolidate your mana that way. You could could tajuru preserver against creature saccing and pop in a couple overruns or something for extra power. Just some thoughts. But again this looks like an awesome deck. Nice work.

1 Question: Do kicker costs count as activated abilities?

Yeah Jace is a huge target in this deck, He totally strengthens my Lorescale Coatl and can bounce creatures when when needed. But maybe I could suffice with 2.

If you're running elves and considering Joraga Warcaller... also consider Quest for the Gemblades. It's a sweet card that can stack 4 +1/+1 counters on your Warcaller. That all your other elves +4/+4 as well. Just a thought.

Thanks for the comments.

Andarius -- You're right I'll put in some spot removal in the sideboard, but I think the negate should be enough to take the of the mass removal, but I'll more counterspells in the sideboard as well. I don't think you can equip creatures with shroud since it counts as an abiilty. I'll definitely try the Elspeth: I think it makes more sense in the deck. I was going to use Ajani just to spam +1/+1 counters and vigilance on my dudes.

Tom -- I think Brave the Elements and the fog could take care of the mass creatures until I draw sleep over overrun.

Very Nice. I've been trying to make a shroud deck, but all mine seem to lack the offensive power to finish games. Have you play tested this yeT?

I think this is one of the more original and better vamp decks I've seen. Nice.

Oran-rief and gemblades gives you enouh counters. I think what you need is Vines of the vastwood for some removal defense, as well as overrun for massive trample. Check out my tajuru warcaller deck it's very similar to this, the first version even had souls might. The biggest problem I had was removal only warcallers and my archdruids: they were huge targets against removal and could totally cripple my deck if it wasn't countered. Consider naturalize in sideboard or even maindeck, it'd help you against oblivion ring and some powerful artifacts.

So my suggestions: drop souls might for vines and overrun( or garruk) and think about naturalize

The Vines are needed for removal and I'd probably only use Overrun as a finisher. But yeah, I lowered the Gemblades for 1 more Vines.

This deck seems really lackluster, like one big, terrible gimmick. How are you supposed to defeat your opponent? Demoralize him so much from being wrong that he quits? Also, to make Liar's Pendulum ability work, you have reveal you entire hand to your opponent, all to draw one card. Why not just play Concentrate instead? Do you find it so amazing to play 2 mana, tap an artifact, and reveal your entire hand to your opponent all to draw one card?

Can you please explain your win condition to me?

Garruk's a beast. I'm going to put him in my Trial by Naya deck. I think it was lacking serious trample anyways.
