Deck Description

So my friend is trying to get a minotaur deck up and running, but it's having a hard time against control, aggro and decks heavy on removal. Here is the deck list that is on the vault (it is different in real life).

Check out another version that I am working on.

Deck discussion for Standard 'Taurs

-1 Erebos, +1 Reckoner...

When the Rakdos scy-land comes out, you can further stabilese the mana base, especially for Boros Reckoner & than you'll be able to add Mutavaults(all creature types - gets the +1 +1 Trample & the +2 +0 as well)...

I'd use Skullcrack as a sideboard & use Lightning Strike mainboard instead... ...Annihaliting Fire is not quite relavent since rotation(it won't effect Indestructible creatures, only those that'd come back from the grave), I'd rather use Mizzium Mortars...

Anywayes, this is a fun deck... :)

I belive you haven't seen this deck of mine: http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/supreme-serenity/

Leaving a non-helpful comment then linking a deck of your own is generally disapproved of. If you really must shill your own thing, instead of "this is a nice deck :)", try to be constructive.

And yet everyone else posts deck links everywhere, and their posts are never disliked...

Uh ... they usually are. Unless they're helpful: see PoetMaster-X's reply at the top for how to link your deck while not being obnoxious about it.

I'm loving it! Fun deck with lots of answers. How's the pacing? perhaps more card drawing? Cheers.

Sire of Insanity and Slaughter Games are amazing sideboard cards against control while Nykthos and Door of Destinies are cards that will help get you a win.

I like it and have played it before. The current standard meta has a lot of artifact removal.

What about Mutavault? Assuming you can get one or two, that's a 2/2 that has all creature types, so it picks up the bonus from the Rageblood and the Kragma. Again, that's assuming you can get a couple of copies of it. If you can't I'm sure the deck can run without it lol just a suggestion

Great card, though hard to get and it's kind of costly, but I agree.
