I would love a Phyrexian Obliterator, however I made this deck to reflect my own physical deck and I do not as of yet own any copies of that wonderful card.

The deck runs so good Death's Shadow is almost always a dead draw so I don't like to run 4 of those. Thinking of replacing them in fact - and smallpox was definitely something I have been considering for the switch.

Costs too much mana for what I am attempting to achieve.

Have thought of that, however I almost never get both EB out (using them as a probability marker) and the point of the deck is not to win by this loop, rather to control the field til I can win by overwhelming force/effects/drain. Relying on enchantments as a win condition is too shaky a foundation. But thanks for the comment.

Four color infect deck. I could use advice, cuz I'm trying to be standard for an upcoming tournament.

Wow. This is a terrific idea; I know I could use some help on many of my decks. It seems like a trend that only the top liked decks get enough feedback. I applaud this effort, and thanks in advance if anyone takes a gander at my decks. ^_^

Okay, I made a vampire deck based on Drana just because you brought up one of my favorites and it made me want to use her in a deck ^_^

Bloodghast's are far too expensive imo, and I used to run Nirkana Revenants quite heavily, but the Cabal Coffers make them irrelevant.

Indeed, she is definitely one of my favorites. Unfortunately she didn't run well in my 70 card deck, and this is just a reprint basically with less cards. It's kinda in commemoration of how far I've come, as this is my 42nd deck, being a reprint of my first.

I should definitely make a deck with her sometime tho :P

I made this late late at night, so I was pretty tired and didn't see any other good replacements for the non-standard cards. So I just went with it. I may change it later idk :/

I'm deliberately trying to stay away from high casting cards. You'll notice the majority of my deck is on the 1-2 casting range. Corpse Cur, and Core Prowler have low power/toughness in exchange for effects that wouldn't really excel here, and P. Juggernaut is simply an ok beater, when for the same cost I could use Victory's Herald instead.

Don't know how I forgot about Tempered Steel, thank you so much for letting me know. I considered Signal Pest, but I felt Ardent Recruit had more potential mid- to late game, and I'm not a huge fan of Ajani I'm used to running mono-black decks so maybe it's and ideological thing :P).

Thank you SO much for the comment tho, I'm gonna work on fitting Tempered Steel in right now.

Fling is useless, as it only does damage equal to the sacrificed creatures power. Once it's sacrificed it itself is not doing the damage, Fling is. The point of this deck is to do Poison damage in an unorthodox fashion. But thank you for the comment all the same.

Hmm, yeah. Actually you got one of my win conditions spot on, cast Sleeper Agent then hit it with Vampiric Link so that even if he attacks with it I simply gain life. Hmm, will probably sideboard Disentomb or Exsanguinate for some Doom Blades. As for the Dark Rituals I decided to just add Cabal Coffers; I have another deck with four of them and I am never hurting for mana.

Thanks for the comment! ^_^

Well to start you run far more black than blue spells, so increase your swamp to island ratio accordingly or add some dual lands, Creeping Tar Pit is my personal favorite for blue/black decks.

I'd also look into some alternate ways to discard cards in order to trigger your madness costs, perhaps add some more merfolk and lessen the amount of madness creatures. Blue has a lot of good draw and discard spells, and black has some great discard mechanics as well. Breakthrough, Careful Study, & Compulsion are some good examples of blue draw/discard spells, and both Zombie Infestation and Tortured existence work well on blacks' end.

I'd also advise looking into some creature removal spells beyond Big Game Hunter, and some ways to produce extra mana in case you simply have to pay your cards normal costs. Cabal Coffers is great in mono-black decks, and Dark Ritual, while only giving black mana, seems like a good fir for this decks color ratio.

Hope any of this helps :) It's a good start.

Thank you. The combo seemed obvious to me, wonder why I don't see more decks running them.
