Mana Mastery (Tweak)

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Swap out the 3 Supreme Verdict's with 3 Day of Judgement cards if you don't have them. This is from the MTG 2013 Deck with my own tweaks.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How to Play

The goal is to get one of each mana color out on the field. With the Terramorphic Expanse, Evolving Wilds and Cultivate, this shouldn't be an issue. This deck is built to handle any situation, giving the caster enough time to summon a world full of hurt. Don't worry, this is built to control the battlefield so your foe has a really hard time keeping creatures in play to peck at you slowly.

This deck is built to delay the game and sweep the table so you can unleash hell

This deck has two weaknesses; Library burning blue decks and a smart, strategic opponent looking at removing your mana cards (you would be surprised by how many people who don't remove my mana against this deck). Mana is more important than most decks in this one and when you've got a player burning your library, things can become very frustrating. I put the "All Suns' Dawn" and "Conflux" cards in this deck so you can go through your graveyard and pull one of each colored card out in case a situation like that might happen.

Pale Recluse has landfall and Allied Strategies is nice to use when you have one of each mana color in play. Child of Alara is a nice card to have out all by itself as you continue your quest to obtain your needed mana. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Use Day of Judgement or Supreme Verdict. Lavalanche is good for the end-game and Bant Charm is a great Instant when you need it.

You can swap out what you think you may want with the sideboard. I know the rule is only 15 so I will tweak it a bit later.

Deck discussion for Mana Mastery (Tweak)

Hm when i look at the mana base it seems pretty slow moving. If you can afford fetchlands and shocklands that would fix a lot here.
Regarding the rest of the deck i havent looked into it, but do you plan to hardcast all of your creatues or do you have a way of putting them into play otherwise? If your affraid of someone destroying your lands put in some syncopates that would do the trick.

It is pretty slow moving for a little while. As far as fetchlands go, there are 4 cultivates. When I played with this deck on MTG 2013, the only way I can get creatures out on the field is by hardcasting. There is a card called All Suns' Dawn which allows me to grab cards from my graveyard along with Conflux, but really that is the only other way I could grab cards. Maybe I should look for cards that will help me grab cards from my library?
