Took me a second to wrap my head around copy enchantment and paradox haze. (I have been up since 4 am) This is an awesome combo. Hats off!

Thanks for the pointers! I think this revision is much more zippy. I will have to build it when I get home, though I need a couple more nivmagus elementals i think.
Yeah, I have been thinking of how to give it more focus... I like talrand though, especially when I get off a few copies of the cheap spells. I may have to let go of the hypersonic dragon though I love it, and niv-mizzet but i love him so. The devils work out great with teleportal.

Pretty solid. For mostly mono black I can't think of anything to add. I do soo much like the Blademaster though.

Dark rituals would def be an awesome add, but I have been trying to keep my decks standard in case I want to take them to a league. Bone splinters work for when I have too many creatures out, which has happened. I do agree that sign in blood or that new diablic tutor card out would be a good add.
updated: Looked around at some other decks and saw some other avenues. Took out a thunderous wrath b/c in play test two was too many, took out one searing spear and replaced both of those with bump in the night. Also took out the Utrava hellkite and put in olivia voldaren. Also dropped down to 2 cacklers.
I like stab wound better than dead weight. but it does cost less...meh
I would even say take our a rage thrower for your sideboard grave titan. Love that card. also moan of the unhallowed might slide in there somewhere?
I have edited yet again!! I realized that the way this deck really works the axebanes were not necessary. I left the gatekreepers just for some mana fetching if it was actually necessary, more for early game. They can then be sacrificed to either the gobbling ooze to get bigger or the guildmage to get two saperlings.
Not bad. I am a fan of keyrune's. I have a similar deck actually that is more dragon based, blue debuff and cheap burn. I will post it all up when I get home and can remember everything
Yeah the beetle was really just in there bc of low initial cast, but you are right. I will test with that out, the longs legs out, and add in a axebane and see how that makes it flow. I like the axebane for the mana and higher toughness than the vine for eventual sacking from the guildmage
