Deck Description

This is my bant exalted deck. I thought of the idea when I saw Knotvine Paladin. I figured with exalted he could screw some things up.

The stratagy of this deck is pretty straight forward. Keep on playing exalted creatures and attack until your opponant is dead. I like to think that every card in this deck has a purpose though.

For example, the Qasali Pridemages are there because he is a 2/2 for a green and white with exalted and I can sack him to destroy target artifact or enchantment. Overall, he is just a good card so he is main stay in the deck. Noble Hierarch is perfect for this deck, it's essentially a Bird of Paradise except it has exalted instead of flying. Knotvine Paladin is great because with all the exalted creatures he is getting +2/+2 whenever he attacks.

Sigiled Paladin is actually a new addition to this deck. I used to have Rhox War Monk, but I realized that Sigiled Paladin is better because 1) he is cheaper, 2) he has exalted (Rhox War Monk does not) and 3) he has first strike, so I can take out my opponants creatures incase he does not want to take the damage.

Jhessian Infiltrator I think is a great card. Again, he is a 2/2 for a green a blue and he is unblockable. He may not have exalted but with all the other exalted buffs he's on average a 5/5. Akrasan Squire is great because he is a 1/1 turn one drop with exalted. The next turn if I play another cretaure with exalted I'm attacking with a 3/3 turn two.

Jenara, Asura of War is a good flyer. Again, no exalted but I can attack in the air and continue to add counters to it so it continuasly gets bigger before she would be getting the exalted buffs.

Rafiq of the Many is just a great card. I want to put more in the deck but I'm trying to find room for him. He is great though because he too has an exalted buff, but whenever a creature of mine attacks alone they get double strike. he works really well with cards like Jhessian Infiltrator (unblockable), Knotvine Paladin, and Jenara Asura of war. Again, with Distrotion Strike I can make these creatures onblockable.

I have Path to Exiles in here becuase they are good control. Also, it works well when someone declares one blocker to my attacker and before the damage is dealt I can path to exile my opponants creature and then the damage goes through to my opponant.

Finally, I have my lands. Mostly they are non-basic with some M10 and M11 dual lands. Really the only special land I have is Ancient Ziggurat. Its a non-basic land that can give me one mana of any color and use that only on creture spells. This works very well with a mostly creature deck.

Well, this is my deck. I hope you like it and feel free to tell me what you think. Thanks everyone!

Deck discussion for Exalted Deck

This deck builds quickly and makes good use of the exalted strategy. Burn spells can keep this under control but if you do not keep the creatures of this deck under control you are going to et mowed over.
