Deck discussion for progenitus

Take out the Gather Specimen and replace it with more counter-spells. That's help fix your incredibly high mana curve a bit.

Cool Progenitus deck, going with the blue route, Polymorph. Check out my Progenitus deck Progenitus turn 2, it uses the green route to progenitus

Are you planning on using Rite of Replication on Progenitus? His protection from everything won't let him be the target. I assume you're using the Rite to get some fodder for the Polymorph, is that right?

May I ask why use Mind Control instead of Control Magic? (Sorry, I just returned from many years of not playing, still trying to learn the new rules, abilities, etc)

Also, why Cancel and not Counterspell? (Both Counterspell and Control Magic are 1 less mana to cast, according to the rules I looked up, they should be legal in vintage (T1) rules, correct?).
