Odric is maindecked because my Meta is FILLED with token decks, and he is my ace in the hole in a clogged board situation. I may cut him back to just one though. I agree about 4 Mayor and may cut an Invisible Stalker or two for another Mayor and a Skyknight. Stalker has not performed how I wanted him to.

I would never cut the Faith's Shields though. They are an amazing card and have saved my guys from removal more times than I can count. Selesnya charm is great for its versatility. I can flash in a blocker, kill a big threat, get through that last bit of damage, or pump a guy out of searing spear range.

Also, if you go heavier discard by any chance I've found that flickering Ravenous Rats with Cloudshift is pretty great. You can also flicker Disciple of Bolas for more draw if you need.

I like this, gives me some ideas for my own Pack Rat build I was working on. I really would like Disciple of Bolas here for the card draw, I think. Also, Rootborn Defenses can be really awesome. Makes your guys indestructible and makes another Pack Rat.

Looks good. There are other removal spells I'd pick over Murder though. Victim of Night is excellent. It is conditional in the current Standard but in Modern there's rarely a moment you'll run into a Werewolf, Vamp, or Zombie except for maybe Geralf's Messenger or Gravecrawler. In that case you could side in Murder.

For this, I think Path to Exile is a definite winner. In my B/W deck (Standard B/W Exalted/Tokens) Lingering Souls has been a house so the dual lands for Black mana are a winner for sure. I'd add in the Orzhov Shocklands when you can afford them and run Vault of the Archangel as a one or two-of. It's wonderful with huge armies of tokens. You can chump and destroy their whole army and the lifelink buys you so much time.

Also, I run 4 Faith's Shield because it is so insanely useful, and also 4 Inquisitor's Flail because it gets just silly with Silverblade and Exalted and Crusader of Odric.

In my B/W exalted, I run Crusader of Odric rather than Nighthawk because between Silverblade and Nighthawk the double mana costs are too much for the land base. She gets huge because she gets essentially two buffs from each exalted creature. I also run Duty Bound Dead x4 along with tormented soul for one drops which help it get up and going. I find Divine Redirection to be insanely useful late game if you get board wiped, and Vault of the Archangel can be useful as well. I usually run 2 of these three Four-ofs: aven squire, knight of glory, knight of infamy. I sideout the one that is least useful against the deck I'm fighting. But I also couldn't afford Sublime Archangel let alone 4x it so I have to make do without it.

I love this! I'm sorely tempted to build one for Modern night just to see if I can get anywhere with it. Unfortunately for modern I'd have to drop the artifact walls and wall of blossoms, which is a damn shame.

I might suggest Traproot Kami but you don't really have enough forests to make him worthwhile. I run him in mono green and he's a beast. Your deck seems quite well rounded and balanced though, so kudos!

The only thing similar to that would be Gauntlet of Might, I think.

Have you considered Shrine of Burning Rage?

I used to run Journey of Discovery, because I love the option it affords me but I want to see if Cultivate gives the deck better speed. I do love that card though especially with Azusa and the Oracles.

Here, Ruby Medallion is doing nothing for you; all of your spells only take R to play. I don't play burn often, but if I come up with any good card suggestions I'll be sure to post them for you.

This is hilarious. I bet it's a riot to play. Such a fun change from the normal game play.

But then, if you want the tapping as well as untapping I guess puppeteer would be better.

I like fatestitcher better than puppeteer because the untapping is free. Aphetto alchemist is good too.

I like misshapen fiend in my merc. deck, because the flying inevitably comes in handy, plus its cheap and easy to search for.

Thanks for all the ideas. Mycoloth is going to go in as soon as I can get 3-4 of them. I like Sosuke's summons and I could make most of the cards snakes then, maybe. I'm getting a few more soul's fire, that one is a game winner for me a lot of the time. And I'm not gonna make it standard because I don't play standard ever and that's a big pain since I don't generally buy many new cards, I get everyone else's leftovers.

I like Soul's Might and/or Soul's ___ (whatever the life gain one is) in a deck like this. That's what I run at least.

Llanowar elves are a great idea, I just don't happen to have any. Holy day takes up a little too much room, even though I did consider putting it in. I'm going to see if I can bum a set of Llanowar elves off a friend of mine though.

Well if I could afford doubling season I'd love to put it in. But I can't. Mycoloth i might look into.
