Deck discussion for Infectious Pauper

A few of my friends are starting to build a few pauper decks for kicks. This is one I'm gonna put together today.

Very true but a possible turn 2 win for $12 in pauper is still nothing to shrug at. :)
( For a brief second I didn't have Mutagenic Growth. LOL

Some suggestions, based on my monoG Infect deck (non pauper): http://www.mtgvault.com/muktol/decks/monog-infect/
Ichorclaw Myr ({2}; 1/1; Infect; Whenever Ichorclaw Myr becomes blocked, it gets +2/+2 until end of turn), Bonesplitter ({1}; {1} to equip; Equipped creature gets +2/+0), Rancor ({G}; Enchant creature; Enchanted creature gets +2/+0 and gains trample. When Rancor is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, return Rancor to its owner's hand), Evolution Charm ({1}{G}; Choose one: Search your library for a basic land card, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library; or return target creature card from your graveyard to your hand; or target creature gains flying until end of turn)

Greetings
Muktol

Rancor is uncommon now, it goes by most recent printing.

Pauper Deck Construction
The letter P!auper is a Magic Online format in which all cards used must have been printed at the common rarity in a Magic Online set or product. Common promo cards are only legal if the card has been printed at the common rarity in a set or product. Other than that, the usual rules for Constructed decks apply (a minimum deck size of 60 cards in the main deck, an optional 15-card sideboard, and so on). If a common version of a particular card was ever released on Magic Online, any versions of that card printed at other rarities are also legal in this format.

Example: Counterspell was a common card in the Seventh Edition core set, which was released on Magic Online. Counterspell was reprinted in Masters Edition II with an uncommon expansion symbol. Both versions of the card can be used in the Pauper format.

Example: Hymn to Tourach, another uncommon from Masters Edition II, is not legal for use in the Magic Online Pauper format. Even though Hymn to Tourach was printed as a common in the Fallen Empires set, that set was never released on Magic Online

The Pauper banned list is:

Cloudpost
Cranial Plating
Empty the Warrens
Frantic Search
Grapeshot
Invigorate
Temporal Fissure

I'm pretty new to pauper and this is what a friend in my circle said we should follow so this is what I follow. I'm not 100% what the exact rulings are for deck construction if this is not it.

Maybe it works different online than it does in paper?:P who knows but just go with those rules.
My Pauper deck was Pauper affinity.

In response to Muktol, thanks for the suggestions I've replaced Cultivate with Evolution Charm and trying to figure out how to fit Rancor in.

I would remove "Blightwidow" and/ or "Elvish Mystic" (I don't see why you would need mana acceleration here)

I like your deck!
Mono green avoids some of the problems I'm having in my GU-deck. I would still consider gitaxian probe, though. Information is always valuable (it sucks blowing all your pumps into prevented damage), and it adds consistency as it effectively thins your deck down.
Also, I would consider prey upon in a mono-green deck. It's very effective removal, especially combined with pump.
Finally, if you ever have problems with getting through blockers, apostle's blessing could be consitered. I like what evolution charm does, but blessing gives protection, making it work as avoidance and is a mana cheaper (this should be significant considering you only run 18 lands) at the cost of some versatility.

If I were to take anything out, I'd cut virulent sliver. Poisonous is not imfect, so even if you pump it, it only applies 1 poison counter. I'd also consider cutting giant growth and blight mamba/rot wolf, but it definitely needs testing. All over it depends heavily on the meta, and if this works for you, roll with it.

Hope it helps, thanks for the feedback on my deck!

Happy to help, and thanks for your feed back on mine. You make some very valid points.

In addition I would say Rot wolf is the weakest link considering the cmc. You are right on the down fall of Poisonous not helping when pumped but I have had a few games with multiple Slivers which makes the Poisonous triggers stack. I also like having a higher amount of creatures so I can flood my board allowing at least one to get threw.
I am gonna cut Giant Growth for Gitaxian Probe. It's a strategy I use in my burn decks as well.
