I like it. Fairly straight and to the point. Curve is good too. I'm might base a few decks off this one in the future.

Basically Red would be for damage and Blue for counter spells. Maybe Red/Blue would work, call it a Steam deck
We came up with a test deck that ended up being Red but I have enough nasty Blue cards to make that work too. Sets I'm not sure about yet. Majority of my stock is Kamigawa and M11-M14. A minimum 75 count deck would be required. I'm thinking mana curve solidly at 2 - 3 would also be needed.
So, I'm going to use some of these cards from this deck to make a companion deck. I got some GREAT ideas from 10 of these cards to make some serious damage on a library killer. Stay tuned.

Since you're also running blue, throw in a couple Twincasts to help double your damage output on Sorcery/Instants. Also, a standard Pyromancer would do wonders too.

Highlander deck? I'm not familiar lol. Please explain. Also, I'm considering adding some more potent creatures. It seems I have enough mana to beef this deck just a tiny bit. So far it plays well though.
