Maybe play Aurelia the Warleader? Gives you two combat phases. Quicksilver Amulet to drop high cost creatures quicker?

Thing is though Aurelia is an entirely different deck. Like you'd keep the lands and not much else. Most boros generals are so boring and similar you can just flip between them mindlessly, but Brion is one you can't.
The point is when Aurelia is dropped on the battlefield it only amplifies the aggro he/she wants. I'm not saying she should be the commander but she definitly is a great addition. Maybe even Reya, Dawnbringer. As for card draw I agree. Baneslayer would be great as well.

Angelic Accord makes a dude that you can fling to make a dude that you can fling, etc.You'll need more draw. Outpost Siege, Mind's Eye and Staff of Nin are a start. Council's Judgement does everything Oblivion Ring does but better. It's not cheap but Scroll Rack is pretty amazing with Land Tax.
I actually have most of these cards in my paper version of the deck, I just neglected to change my online version. Thanks for the suggestions!
