@benny boy you miss a very good analysis of how bad the deck is

replace ggrowth with simic charmbetter protection for your creatures and the built in bounce is very usefulhave a different take my not so simic deckhttp://www.mtgvault.com/maykg/decks/not-so-simic-standard/
why not mainboard the Lord of Riots?
very nice concept.... and cheap too... dual lands gets most of the cost ( which should be staple in the library of competitive players)
Thanks for the suggestion I get some of your point for now i will stick with the cacklers would get a noble for play testing soon i agree during play testing the mortars becomes a liability Version 0.01 Creatures 3x Markov Blademaster 3x Hound of Griselbrand 4x Vexing Devil 3x Ash Zealot 4x Rakdos Cackler Enchantments 4x Rancor Land 2x Kessig Wolf Run 4x Rootbound Crag 9x Mountain 7x Forest Spells 2x Devil's Play 3x Ranger's Guile 3x Wild Hunger 3x Pillar of Flame 3x Thunderbolt 3x Mizzium Mortars
i also think lingering souls/ midnight haunting could easily replace the red token cards... red seems pretty out of place
I thought it was an innistrad deck :P
this looks solid... will try it out...
the delver may be a bit mute in your deck with only 8 spells to transform it
come to think of it i do have trouble with mana screw...
You might want to consider adding Oblivion ring Fiend Hunter
