Sure - I play Child a good bit when things get crazy. Just have your Boros Charm ready, or know that you'll lose some stuff. I rather lose a few things rather than fight through a field of death.

I wouldn't really worry about them blocking or dealing damage to you. Your goal is to kill them first and eliminate threats. Sometimes that comes at the cost of your own health :/

I like stoke the flames as well, but I feel like your creatures need to be sideways to attack. Convoke will almost never get much use unless you stall out or have excess mana. Firedrinker is an essential imho. A one drop 2/1 with pump is incredibly strong, and in a mirror match, I'd side him out for Foundry Street.

it's crazy fast in EDH. I've had quite a few total blowouts on like T6. That said - it's obviously fragile and has a lot of other issues haha. But hey... that's tron lol.

The idea is that if you have them at nearly no life and you go for the killing burn, then you can stop a counterspell. It costs 2 life to play, and the idea is that this is the "final play", meaning the game will be over before you ever have to pay Pact's cost.

I clearly have more red lands though? I'm so confused.

Darksteel for Galvanic, and Ascension triggers from cards going to the grave from anywhere, not just hand or creatures :). Fetches, instants, sorceries etc.

You ONLY use Pact to win btw. Very do or die (I use this in my IRL Burn deck and always catch someone trying to linger on with 2 or 3 life).
