I think the definition of a great midrange deck is being able to play well with mostly any hand you pull. This deck does that for me. All of the cards are threats in their own right, and combo well with other cards, but combos are not required for winning. This is a tentative version for the start of Theros, I already have my 6 Theros cards preordered, I'll be adding more cards later..
This deck focuses on removing any threat out there while getting all your creatures out there and beefed up. By Turn two you should be able to remove anything they put in your way. on any given turn after that. The sideboard provides answers to some specific threats: Elixir vs. Mill, Savage Summoning vs. Control, Duress vs. decks heavy on enchantments, instants, sorceries, Ranger's Guile vs. Removal. -- Golgari Charm vs. All the "Enchantment Creatures" in theros.

I played this at a huge fnm first post-rotate. It was a superstar. Everyone was watching as I put a 30-30 mistcutter on the board. Might be the best deck in standard!
