Instead of casting second chance on 8th upkeep, I would play a gravity sphere, so no creatures can attack you at all. Using form of the dragon leaves you to little health to go on, and you will be killed if your opponent has flying creatures. With that in play, nothing at all can attack you while you have 5 health.

Nice trick, using Illusions with Mischief to give opponent Illusions. Then cast Meditation with threshold, hitting them for 20 then returning Illusion to play, giving you 20. Very creative. +1

Interesting idea.

I just thought of a combo with Ob Nixilis, Unshackled: Path to Exile, and either flash or find another way to suddenly bring Ob Nixilis in.

Why do you have a Vortex Elemental in your sideboard when you have 4 in the deck? This deck would not be allowed to play with that.

Nice trick, man.
If you cast Pyretic Ritual instead of Akroan Crusaders, you can then cast Geosurge, which gives you enough mana to cast other creature spells. I personally use annihilator so I make them sacrifice lands. That leaves them pretty much defenseless for the rest of the game.
