In my experience, Niv is a good combo kill general, but doesn't do diddly otherwise, with his small body. And everyone knows what you're doing when you put him down. Teysa is in fact amazing, but I prefer GBW for token decks, as I've got a bit of love for Doubling season and parallel lives. Teneb isn't bad, and combos off really well with graveyard play, but again, better generals exist. I LOVE rafiq decks, but if rafiq gets blown off the board once or twice, the deck loses right out the gate. Mimeoplasm is one of my favorites, despite it not being on your list. Gotta love his interactions with certain giant cards.

Also, My current EDH deck? Rikku. Holy god, Rikku. RUG has so many infinite combos, and so many X cost spells. You have to respect a deck that casts rikku, drops palinchron, and then creates infinite mana AND infinite palinchrons. Then copies a blue suns or devils play or whatever to kill the table. His early game lacks a bit, but my deck plays nothing but A) combo creatures B)copy spells, C) time spells, D) counters, and E) X cost spells. tons of tokens, tons of spells. Spend your early game playing copy spells on your opponents ramp cards, playing your own ramp cards, or countering early game plays with forbid, buying it back due to draw spells, and charmbreaker devils. meanwhile, you just bide your time until it's time to strike!

Thanks. Wouldn't my own o-ring with venser bounce precursor out of play without copying it? it's not an instant or a sorcery effect. essentially, peekaboo precursor. I've definitely thought about adaptive though. I own enough to replace them. Would you recommend dropping indomitable as well then?
