Deck Description

Main deck is built to be tempo/aggro. Rattleclaw drop 2, Archetype drop 3, Ashcloud Drop 4. Into a planeswalker. Once you have Sarkhan out, if you've been able to keep tempo or stall/remove. You can get a dragon, and trigger ferocious with Icy Blast, Barrage of Boulders, and Roar of Challenge. I specifically like the Roar of challenge with an indestructible Sarkhan Dragon Form.

If you can't draw into some good aggro, then just stall/removal till you can catch a tempo.

How to Play

Always look for 4 lands in hand or a rattleclaw with 3. Just a better hand for scaling into a planeswalker. Especially with a rattleclaw to help mana fix.

Archetype is for when Hydra Broodmaster becomes monstrous. 3 Nykthos since you can use a Rattle claw or 2 for it's cost and then choose larger devotion for Hydra. Large bomb in this is Hydra getting a good monstrous off, or Nissa Ult. Sarkhan is used to a continually poke/burn every turn to get some damage on the board, same with Ashcloud.

The Stall/Removal always comes first. Gotta keep your advantage rolling or be able to come back and get an advantage.

Since the format is slow for the most part this deck will work well since the drop ratio and mana ratio fits.

Half of the land ratio is Island's to make sure you can hit removal Fuel. If you do find out that you are running low on tempo and on fuel. Play Nissa if you have the choice. The ability to make lands into creatures is huge here. You get the ferocious triggers on everything and have some defence. Hopefully you can stave off any attacks/removal on the Nissa to get her to ult. If she get's to ult. It's over. Most opponents will just grab and reshuffle.

In the event you come to a board stalemate. Roar of Challenge/Barrage of Boulders/Icy Blast are in place to make sure you can swing in for free.

In the event you come across another hard core stall/removal deck. Swap out all cards in sideboard to hopefully out stall/remove.
