Rage Throwers are too high on the curve to want to run more than 3...heck, even running more than 2 is pushing it for me, but I would like to try it as it is to see how it works.

And the Ragers are more so that I can flood the board with cheap creatures, as they replace themselves after I cast them. Nobles would probably be a good idea, but the fact that 4x of them would cost almost as much as the rest of the deck currently costs (monetarily) makes me a little adverse to wanting to use them.

Nope, their effects will trigger even when dying simultaneously as other creatures. The goal is to be able to 'one-shot' the opponent, meaning it doesn't really matter if the Noble and Thrower survive to boardwipe.

The rules themselves can be found here, the same thread that inspired me to make this deck: http://www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/comments/lpm94/question_on_blasphemous_act_and_rage_thrower/

Consider using the card Freed From the Real. It combos very obviously with Gelectrode and Niv-Mizzet, and can also work as pseudo-removal if you use it to tap an opponent's creature during each one of their upkeeps. Highly recommend the card.

Desperate Ritual is strictly better than Pyretic Ritual, since you can splice effects to gain even more mana. I would replace them as soon as you can.

Other than that, what about Kiln Fiend or Empty the Warrens? Both benefit a lot from your rituals, and Kiln Fiend doesn't even need any mana during the turns you 'go off' with your rituals for a storm card.

Warstorm Surge and/or Pandemonium would both be really good here, as would Norin the Wary. And if you want to be super cool, run Confusion in the Ranks to steal creatures EVERY TURN ^_^

Because using Sorin in EDH is an instant -1000 karma points, as well as gaining the hatred of every player at the table very quickly (often followed by immediately getting ganged up on and killed).

It's EDH, there's politics. Just because a card is good in EDH doesn't make it a good IDEA for EDH.

I would also consider running either Gemstone Array or Pentad Prism. Both combo with Gilder Bairn for infinite activations or even infinite mana. With 3 charge counters, you can activate Bairn to double to 6, then pay 3 to activate again, Bairn doubling to 6 again, etc. Or, with 4 or more counters, you can go infinite (double to 8, pay 3 to 5, double to 10, pay 3 for 7, double to 14, etc)

That lets you use ANY card that requires you to tap a creature, instead of being limited to just Paradise Mantle (and also lets you combo off without Training Grounds on the field). As for tapping effects, consider Bramblesnap for an infinite/infinite trampler, Heavy Arbalest to kill everything forever, Ocular Halo to draw ALL the cards, Presence of Gond for ALL the elf tokens, or Splinter Twin for idon'tevenknowwhat'sgoingon time.

What with all those Wellsprings and Spines, where are your Phyrexia's Cores? Card draw with the Wellsprings, recurring removal with the Spine, just an all-around great utility card.

This deck really, really wants Acidic Slime in the 5 CMC slot. Basilisk is nowhere near as good. Either way, you get a deathtouchy blocker for a turn, it's just with the slime you're also blowing something up while with the Basilisk he just kinda...sits there uselessly.

This deck dies SO HARD to creatures with flying. You're only pseudo-removal is Inferno Titan, and even he can't deal with fliers that have more than 4 toughness (unless you've gone all the way to imprinting it on Mimic Vat, but that that point, you've probably already died to their flying attacks).

Gravity Well solves this problem, though. At least stuff it in the sideboard, it'd be no fun going the whole game without drawing Inferno Titan and then dying from Grand Comrade Storm Crow's attacks.

1. Standard. STANDARD. It's not that hard a concept. Tenth edition cards need not apply.
2. Enchanting any of the illusions is a super-easy way to get them to kill themselves.

Maelstrom Pulse owns this deck HARD. Solution: Run the card 'Mortal Combat' for lulz and profit.

I would consider adding more colorless creatures, since you have a fairly good chance of being able to chuck them onto the table for free later in the game. Eldrazi are obviously excellent for this, but if you don't like the stigma of using them, you could always just run quality artifact creatures. Solemn Simulacrum, Duplicant, Myr Battlesphere, Myr in general, Dark/Blightsteel Colossus, Sundering Titan, etc etc etc. You have a lot of options is what I'm saying.

More Strip Mines (or Strip Mine style cards, like Ghost Quarter or Tectonic Edge), and Crucible of Worlds, could break this deck for you. Even more, that is.

What about Sun Titans? It's another thing to bounce with Venser, and it can help bring back O-Rings and Exarchs that were destroyed earlier in the game. At that point, add a few Tectonic Edges too for glorious value.

You....you realize that your only white card in this deck, gives protection only to WHITE creatures?

/facepalm

Lose the white, just run more Overruns or Vines of Vastwood if you still want that instant speed protection.

Only thing is it seems a little light on removal, which is a shame being in the best color for it.

However, instead of Doom Blade or the like, I say keep with the theme and run Bone Splinters (especially since it basically has no drawback with Reassembling Skeleton in play)
