looks nice. I like snap and manamorphose in here. Just thought I would throw out a few ideals for you to think about. Wee Dragonauts may deserve a place in here to give you an alternative kiln fiend with his own evasion. Also this deck has enough spells to consider Delver of Secrets. Hes a great effieicent card and isn't reliant on being pumped. Surrakar Spellblade could potentially be a fun card too.

Good luck with the deck.

Awesome deck, find room for aether vial and this will be a very powerful deck.

Thanks! and Happy New Year to you.

Yeah I understand the concern with Harmonic Sliver and thats why I have him sideboarded. Honestly I haven't had much trouble with him because of Darkheart Sliver and Hibernation Sliver. Also he eats affinity alive.
Synapse Sliver would be amazing if it wasn't for its cost, he could be a good card for the late game and in your case can be discarded with FoW. If you try it out let me know how it plays.

Nice burn. Doesn't look that casual too me. Personally I would take out the artifact lands and shrapnel blast and put in the extra fireblast and Lava Spike. It should make things a little more consistent. Throw in a few fetch land like arid mesa to thin the deck and help fuel Grim Lavamancer. Not a big fan of Browbeat, I would rather run a reoccurring damage card like Sulfuric Vortex.

Either way this looks like a great and deadly deck, good luck with it!

Looks like a pretty nice deck. I have a similar g/w Knight build that may give you some new ideals.

I suggest adding some removal spells like path or swords.
Take a look at these cards.
Shield of the Oversoul
Congregation at Dawn
Path to Exile

Good luck with the deck!

Hi Androstosity.

This deck is shaping up nicely. I second the ideal of 4 dispatch.
Also I would run Ornithopter instead of Memnite so you will have some flying creatures. Flying creatures with swords can be very effective.
Also despite not being a human stoneforge mystic is just too good not to include in any equipment deck, it also opens you up to being able to easily get batterskull into play.
If you add stoneforge you can run a few less equipment and a few more creatures.
Not sure if you have played much with Jitte but it is the best overall equipment in the game in my opinion because unlike the swords jitte doesn't have to connect with the player. Once you get a few counters on it then its very easy to gain control of the board.
1-2 Mox Opal is always nice in this type of deck.

Good luck with the deck!

I don't see much room for improvement for this build. Perhaps a single Dismember could be interesting. Also Flash Freeze is great sideboard hate.

Hi Crowns, Nice slivers. Its pretty similar to what i'm running but I had a lower budget and couldn't do the duals and forces.
Unless you play vintage or casual you may want to take out wheel of fortune because its banned in legacy.
I disagree with a lot of what slash has said particularly about cutting back on aether vials which are the engine of the deck. I do feel like metallic sliver is unnecessary and could be better as brainstorm or swords to plowshare.

Don't underestimate Hibernation Sliver. He is a 2 mana cost so he can be vialed out easily and despite the life loss being able to protect your slivers from any kind of removal is very powerful.
Disenchant is always a great card but how about Harmonic Sliver instead?

Here is my build if you are interested.

Hello again morgoth424.

Just wanted to share my efforts at building a hybrid deck like this one. Here is my build.
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=272458

Platinum Emperion + Reanimate is awesome. You don't loose life from it or anything after it coming into play with Reanimate.
Also Bringer of the White Dawn has a lot of synergy with the painter/grindstone combo and it can pull out other powerful artifact creatures.
Going against Leyline of the Void is a surefire way to shut down a re-animator deck. Since this is a mono black build with 4 dark rituals why not sideboard or run Phyrexian Obliterator which is a beast no mater how he is put onto the battlefield.

I have 2 questions about your deck. Do you think Cabal Therapy is a must run card? I forgot to get any of them but the deck seems pretty solid so far.
Also why do you run Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth in here?

For this particular build since you only have 5 cards that can benefit from proliferate I would stick with browbeat. In my burn proliferate deck I have 4x Shrine of Burning Rage, 4x Keldon Marauders, 2x Countryside Crusher, 4x Quest for Pure Flame and 2x Chandra, the Firebrand that all can benifit from more counters so it works well in that deck. If you run more stuff that needs counters then its a great choice but I would still splash some dual color lands in to make sure you don't take damage every time you need to cast it.

Nice looking human deck. Might want to edit you description because it lacks Transcendent Master.

Take a look at my 2 human tribal decks for new ideals if you like.

Nice looking build. Only suggestions I have are that I would never go down to less than four Merrow Reejerey or Silvergill Adept, particuarlly not to make room for 4 Tidal Warrior.

Also I love standstill and and Umezawa's Jitte with merfolk. Standstill is just evil when you have a vial out and jitte = board control.
Also I would rather run Spell Pierce or Phantasmal Image instead of mana leak.

Good luck with the deck!

I understand where you are coming from but the reason that many merfolk decks look similar is because this is an established top tier deck build. With the exception of strip mine and mental misstep Crowns could walk into any legacy tourny in the world and have a real shot of being in the finals.

However slivers are fun too. This is the best slivers deck build I have been able to come up with if you are interested. Even it runs similar to fish however, just because the concept is just that good. Slivers (legacy Style) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=273225

I love burn and have experimented with it a lot and have tried many different combinations. I have plenty of suggestions for you to consider. This is more of a RDW deck than a straight burn deck but thats good because I have found it is generally a more consistent deck.
1st off No matter how hard it is, you must get this down to 60 or you are just hurting yourself and the deck.
2nd I agree with ESPRcon. You need 4 Goblin Guides and hellspark is also an excellent choice. Also I understand and like browbeat but its never good to give your opponent a choice because they will always choose whats best for them. But running 2 isn't that bad. Quest for the pure flame is such a fun and powerful card, the only down side is if you don't drop it by turn 3 its mostly a waste and you never want to top deck into it. If you must keep it then I have several builds using it so just take a look at my decks and arrange them by deck type and look at some of my burn decks, look at fastest burn 2 if you like quest, look at artifact burn for something similar to this deck or look at Burn deck wins for my best build of Burn/RDW so far.
3rd a lot of those creatures are okay but if you want the best of the best for burn they are: Listed more or less in order of how good they are:
Goblin Guide
Keldon Marauders
Grim Lavamancer
Hellspark Elemental
Mogg Fanatic

Most of the best burn spells more or less in order are:
Lightning Bolt
Chain Lightning
Fireblast
Lava Spike
Magma Jet
Rift Bolt

Take a look at these deck in particular because I think you will like them.

Aww too bad, hes a really fun card.

Forgot to mention it last time but take a look at Quietus Spike, its insanely good on unblockable creatures. You may want to put some good creature removal like go for the throat in here since you don't want to block with most of your creatures. Also Spell pierce and vapor snag are good choices.

Thanks! Spell Pierce is an excellent card and I will try it out some time. It is true that I am pretty prepared for creatures but not very prepared for non creature spells. If I go up against someone with a combo deck or another spell based deck I will have problems unless i get lucky and surgically extract an important card.

Hi jitittle. This is a nice looking build. I have a few suggestions. I don't really see a big need for spreading seas. How about instead you run a few Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth. It serves the same purpose without taking up room in the deck and it can help your land base.

Put in 4 Vision Charms, its an instant mill, artifact disruption or swampwalk/islandwalk card all in one.

I would take out Sadistic Sacrament and Tome Scour and put in a few Sewer Nemesis or Trepanation Blade.

You may like Lim-Dul's Vault instead of Diabolic Tutor.
Also Oboro, Palace in the Clouds is perfect for landfalling crabs every turn.

Take a look at my deck and see what you think.

Thanks for the comment. I put them in the sideboard and will give it a try sometime. I agree that its a lot faster and fits well with the deck. Works almost as well as Gitaxian probe. However since I only had room for 2 more burn spells I went with Staggershock because its mostly a 2 for 1 card that helps fuel the deck in later turns. I am still playing around with Seize the day. Its very situational but if I catch my opponent defenseless for a turn it can be a game winner.

Hi Sefter, thanks for checking out the deck. Its more of a fun concept than anything but the card you want to give your opponent is Immortal Coil. Look at the 3rd paragraph of that card. If at any point the controller of Immortal Coil does not have any cards in their graveyard then they loose the game.
So if you have Leyline of the Void or Nihil Spellbomb or a Bojuka Bog in hand they will have no graveyard and will loose the moment you give them control of Immortal Coil.
