The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Build your army quickly, filling it with tokens and pumping them up to unbelievable heights. Slow your opponent(s) down with deathtouch and the fear of extra damage to creatures from Cranial Plating while blocking on the ground and in the air.

NOTE: This deck is NOT optimized! This is a very real deck built with cards on hand, as are all of my decks. Naturally, if this were a virtual deck then I would have more key cards and less filler.

[Update: Had error in deck: the three Perilous Myr should have been Alloy Myr. Thanks goes to BigGeorge76 for bringing this to my attention.]

EDIT: Five years later, I've co-opted this deck to create a new sac Commander/EDH deck and another deck with this purpose, only much more powerful. :)

How to Play

Hour of Reckoning is your hole card. Get as many of your creatures out, along with your enchantments. Make sure you have at least one Grimoire out and ready to activate when you play Hour of Reckoning, hopefully with Field of Souls out and at least one Dross Scorpion out which you'll put in your graveyard last. Whenever an artifact creature goes to the graveyard, use Dross Scorpion's ability to first use on Myr for mana, then on land for mana (immediately tapping those again for mana). You should have a ton of mana and many tokens as a result. Then when you activate Grimoire, you should then have a field full of creatures and pumped tokens. Use your mana to equip Chariot of Victory to Seraph of the Masses and as many Cranial Plating as possible, and drop a War Report down just to add insult to injury. Swing with Seraph and any tokens you have which don't have summoning sickness (and if you have Intangible Virtue out, remember those tokens have vigilance).

Fact is, if there is anyone left that hasn't surrendered before you entering your attack phase, it'll be surprising.

Deck discussion for Urza's Ultimatum

I really like where you are going with this deck for sure! However, I see one major problem you are going to have...MANA. Hour of Reckoning = 3 white, and a few of your creatures spells also have 2 white or black. You have extremely minimal ways to get 2-3 white, and 2 black mana. You need to shore up this for this deck to function properly I believe. Beckon Apparition and builders blessing can go, that's two slots. Two cranial Plating, that's 4. Servant of Tymaret is 5. Use those five slots for a black/white mana land. You have many options dependent on your budget.

Hi BigGeorge, and thanks for the comments and compliment!

Ah, I had a mistake: the three Perilous Myr were supposed to be Alloy Myr; I've fixed that. Now there is plenty of mana to go around - in fact it is very easy to get an infinite mana loop with two mana generating Myr plus two Myr Galvanizers, not to mention an insane amount of colorless mana being generated by Urza's lands. Additionally, Unstable Frontier makes any other land I control a basic land of my choice. Surprising what a simple error as swapping out three Myr makes with the mana curve! And I never would have noticed if you hadn't brought it to my attention.

Thanks again!
Robert~

Ahh excellent! I'm glad I helped, You are very welcome. And I totally missed that infinite loop. The Alloy Myr makes a big difference for sure.

Imagine an 'Unwinding Clock' in this O.O;

Also, most whom run's Tron (Urza Lands), usually have 'Vesuva' and 'Thespian's Stage' to go supersonic with mana

Looks good none-the-less ^_^

Cheers

Oh, yes, I'd LOVE to put an Unwinding Clock in this! But, they are all in my other decks. :( I'll have to order more at some point.

I forgot about Thespian's Stage! Thanks!! I'd never heard of Vesuva, either, until now. In my wishlist. :D "Tron", eh? I've learned yet another thing today. (BTW, the original Tron arcade game was one of the best ever of the genre; too bad few people ever experienced it that way.)

Thanks, Pheonix!
