while I understand what you are saying, I'll stick with the definition of reprint as "being printed again" and also why would they print a card that was instabanned its original standard and banned in modern again?

Marchesa can't go infinite with goblin bombardment and an undying creature, because Marchesa returns creatures that died with a +1/+1 counter at the beginning of the next end step, not right away and while you can sacrifice the creature again after it returns it won't return again until the next end step, which is on your opponents turn. therefore you can only trigger goblin bombardment 2 times a turn at maximum with the same creature

what I will suggest is Cauldron of Souls as it can give any number of creatures persist because it combos well with undying. A creature with persist and undying when it dies you can choose which order persist and undying trigger in, the first will resolve and you get the creature back with either a +1/+1 counter or a -1/-1 counter (the other ability will trigger and do nothing as the creature is no longer in the graveyard) then you sacrifice it again and whichever ability you didn't choose will resolve and the creature will come back again.

Example of this is:

you have Cauldron of souls, geralf's messenger and phyrexian altar on the field

you tap the cauldron giving the messenger persist then you sacrifice it the altar

persist and undying trigger as the messenger had no counters on it and you choose to put the persist trigger on the stack before the undying trigger,

because the stack is last-in-first-out undying resolves returning the messenger to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter, then persist resolves and can't find the messenger in the graveyard so it does nothing

then you sac the messenger again but this time undying won't trigger because of the +1/+1 counter but persist will and it will return the messenger to the battlefield but with a -1/-1 counter this time

you can then repeat this as many times as needed and if mikaeus is on the field with any creature

and finally Whip of Erebos doesn't work to bring creatures back constantly as if the creature dies for any reason after the whip animates it, it is exiled instantly and never goes to the graveyard and therefore cannot be returned by marchesa or undying or persist as for these abilities to trigger the creature that died needs to be in the graveyard

After some thought I replaced Armageddon Clock with Eldrazi Monument as monument provides protection and evasion to my soldiers

i do agree that there might be a person with nothing to do, but I would still prefer they wasted it on the clock rather than on something else

it tells me they have nothing in hand if they are unwinding the clock which is nice info

time bomb seems good but as opposed to removing Armageddon Clock (which I like because it hits every turn) I think i'll take out Torture Chamber

that is an interesting thought, I like it but i'll have to do some testing to see how it plays

do you have any suggestions for any cards that should be taken out for it?

If you are going to run a lot of tap target creature effects you should use Gideon's Avenger as the main beater also with so little black why not remove it all or at least lower the number of swamps

whoops completely missed that maybe after some more playtesting i'll reconsider it, but right now i'll keep it on the back burner

added deck description and I worked in Gerrard and Elspeth

seeing as most of my creatures would be dinky i feel like wall of reverance wouldn't give me that much lifegain and i'm not too impressed with the return on angelheart vial, i have to pay 2 mana and take at least 4 damage to get 2 life back, not feeling it

as far as lords go in my playgroup creature removal (other than mass removal, in which case any lord or anthem effect is null) is few and far between, but i'll try other options if the lords don't seem to stick around

otherwise thanks for the suggestions they were much appreciated

the reason I didn't have them was because I was going for more of a soul sisters/take all the damage kinda of thing

I do acknowledge that moving toward a soldier tribal subtheme is good though so i have added a couple lords

canopy cover gives hexproof, it was a card that was printed before hexproof was a keyword but still does the same thing

thats probably because Kazzong is a well known user and there are many new players who don't even know of the existence of obsolete card types eg. summon, mono artifact, poly artifact, continuous artifact, interrupt

I don't mean to be a killjoy but you can't get infinite mana. The candelabra is a "mono" artifact which is an older term that refers to the fact that you must tap the artifact to activate its abilities in addition to paying other costs. Its errata shows the card as X tap: untap X lands.

but the flier can still potentially kill whoever you choose to fight it, if its power is high enough

no it wouldn't as double strike and first strike and some others are combat only mechanics. So your creature would take 2 and their creature would take 2 and both would die, this happens for all cards that say x creature fights y creature.
