Thanks for the suggestions. I'm still really working on the deck quite a bit. I'll give some of your suggestions a try.

With 6 Jace's in the deck you're gonna be holding at least 1 in your hand the whole game.

Ezuri is a Legend, so you can't have more than one in play...

Ya, I'm finding that it's hard to have consistant mana without the fetches. I'm also thinking that with Beast Within's I may have enough removal that I don't actually even need Black in the deck at all. I just think I have way better SB options if I keep black in the deck. I was also thinking of throwing the Geth's Verdicts in the SB and just using GFTT. I might also be able to get away with only 3 SFM's with the Shaman's. The only thing about that though, is that I would rather draw a Mystic, than a Shaman. I don't know. I'll try it out a few different ways tonight.

Thanks for the tips. I've been debating some fetch lands, but they are kinda like Vengevine. Not sure if I want to drop the money for them, to only be able to play with them for a couple months. That's a good idea about the Kor Sanctifiers. I haven't put a SB together yet. I'll concider him as a 1-of. I'm really loving how with SFM's I can have 1-of equipments, and with the Shaman's I can have 1-of creatures. Makes SBing for different threats alot easier. Also, Batterskull will eventually find it's way into the deck, as soon as I get one. Thanks again for the help.

I didn't even think about that. Maybe I'll put 4 Blade Splicers in place of the Wing Splicers. Thanks for the heads up.

Nice deck. I had a Mono Blue build for this. It was just full of control with the Trinket Mage searching for Everflowing Chalice. I think the Relic is a better choice over the Chalice, but I built mine before NPH was out. I also contemplated making a Shape Anew deck with Splicers. I may throw a deck list together. I'm thinking that even if you can't get a Shape Anew off, then it would still work like a more aggro Golem deck... Sorry, I'm brainstorming as I'm commenting... lol.

Looks like fun. I've thought about making a deck like this since they came out, and I'm kinda suprised there weren't more of these running around. Being able to DoJ and still have huge threats out seems really good to me.

Oh, when I was talking about the Tournament Practice room, I was talking about MTGO, just in case you didn't know. I'll typically play a deck in the Casual room until I'm comfortable with it, but like I was saying there is more of a variety of deck types from totally newb to Tier 1 decks, so It's hard for me... lol.

Thanks man. I'm finding out that Karn is too hard to keep alive. He is a huge target, and removing a permanent with him actually leaves him really vulnerable. I may take him out. I've come to like Life's Finale. It's a bit pricey, but being able to take out their army, and 3 of their future threats is pretty good. Plus it gives me another shuffle affect for the the Psychic Surgery. Although, because it is so pricey, I'm thinking that taking out the Time Reversal and adding BSZ. I just haven't bought them yet... lol. I was just experimenting with them anyways, and they aren't working out as good as I thought they would. Too many times have I played it, and my opponent thanks me... lol.

My problem isn't knowing the decks. If I was playing this deck in the Tournament Practice room then I think it would be alot easier, because then there are less random decks. In the Tournament Practice room it usually follows the meta of the actual tournaments, so more Caw, U/B, etc... Although, since I have been testing different builds, I have gotten more of an understanding of what I'm really looking to remove. Every now and then though I'll run into some random deck that is either packing so many threats, or that is so "un-focused", or is really newbish, that I have a hard time figuring out what to take out... lol. I think that's why I've come to like Psychic Surgery so much, cause I can just take the best of the 2, and minipulate their draw.

Thanks for commenting. I like your decks by the way.

Swap out Counterspell for Mana Leak and it will be Standard Legal. Also, as stated above, take out the Shield. There really is no use for it in this deck. You've got a pretty decent start here. I would just take out 4 Accorder's Shield and add either 4 Everflowing Chalice's or 2 Palladium Myr and 2 Geth's Verdict. Good luck with your deck.

I tried Sadistic Sacrament, and I kinda liked it. I may try it in this build. I also thought about GFTT, and I may try those instead of Geth's Verdict. Thanks for the suggestions.

Interesting deck. So basically you just remove all of your opponent's threats before they can even draw them, and if they happen to get them first you've got plenty of removal for them. Very Nice.

I guess I'll also jump on the Obliterator discussion... lol. I think he is great, but where he really shines is as a defender. Who is going to attack into him? But when he attacks it's alot easier to just take the 5. I also pulled 2 in prereleases. Not 2 in the same tournament, but 2 in the same day. The first tournament I pulled one and then the next pack I pulled a Karn. I was very happy.

Here are a few cards you can try out. All of them would be better than the Rusted Slasher. I'll put them in order of best to worst, in my opinion.

-Ferrovore
-Hoard-Smelter Dragon
-Barrage Ogre
-Kuldotha Flamefiend
-Hellkite Igniter
-Gnathosaur

The last 3 cards might be a little expensive CC wise, that's why they are lower on the list.

Also, I think Kuldotha Rebirth should be in this deck. You want artifacts in your gy, and it gives you 3 bodies.

Good luck with the deck. I like the idea.

The bad thing about the Cloak is that you can't target your creature and pump him up with the Vines. I would exchange the Cloaks for Canopy Cover. They then can be targeted only by you, and are still hard to block.

I had a white Chancellor get passed to me as like a 4th-5th pick. I was amazed it didn't get snatched up. The thing about it, I think, is that there is so much removal in the set, that people tend to take that first, and the Chancellors get passed alot. I know I passed 2 green Chancellors in the same draft...
