doubling season doubles the counters on helix pinnacle and darksteel reactor and makes more defenders/mana rampers from followed footsteps. Omnath allows you to save your green mana until you get a doubling season. bloom tender+freed from the real-infinite green mana combo which you can use for helix pinnacle(if you have to, kill them with omnath!)
