Deck Description

Dragons, dragons, dragons! It really seems like Temur is the way to go (although I initially really wanted to go Naya colors mostly for Dromoka). With the Temur colors, we can use some of the Izzet dragons from the past such as Spellbound Dragon and Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind.

How to Play

Ramp up with Sylvan Caryatid and Elvish Mystic (alternatively, Rattleclaw Mystics are also good. Dragonlord's Servant might be ok, they have 3 toughness for blocking early creatures but they only make dragons cheaper and can't help speed up anything else you might need like Sarkhan, Temur Ascendancy, See the Unwritten, etc.).

Cheat out dragons with Descendant's Path (requires a dragon), See the Unwritten and Sarkhan Unbroken. Thunderbreak Regent is the best 4-drop dragon ever printed, so that is where the curve for dragons starts. None of the other 4 mana or cheaper dragons come close, except Archwing Dragon which is good for triggering damage with Dragon Tempest and card draw with Temur Ascendancy.

Temur is also great because you have card draw options. Temur Ascendancy works really well with Niv-Mizzet, although you can bring in Curiosity for an infinite damage and card-draw combo! Temur Ascendancy also gives all your dragons haste!

If you decide to bring in Crucible of Fire (which is in the sideboard because it is generally a bit slow), Dragon Broodmother generates 4/4 flying dragons with devour 2 each turn. This is great for triggering Temur Ascendancy and Dragon Tempest.
