I love the strategy, but I would suggest running at least three Thrumming Stones and Sideboarding a Xathrid Demon or two. The deck will work, but why run Gravepurge? The strategy is sound enough as is. Just adjust your numbers a little.

This is a sound strategy, but if you are running this style, you need to run a single card backup. play to your strength, but i would suggest adding a card with some kick.

Every deck has a weakness. If you try to cover too many, you will lose the point of the deck. Might as well run stall at that point.

What is the real goal here?

I would suggest that you just stick to the strategy of the rats and remove anything that doesn't go with that. If a deck can't win at its own game, it isn't worth playing. i have a relentless rats deck, too. I learned really quick that the only thing you need is relentless rats, coat of arms, and creature destruction. Don't worry about playing defense. If you do the deck right, by fifth turn, you can have five 6/6's on the field. That is just scary.

I still stand by Jace Beleren and Jace's Erasure. Add two Howling Mines and all the draw power you can. You will be able to mill no problem.

Thanks for your advice, I will see if I can find the necessary cards for both, then see which one works the best.

Not a bad deck, but I would suggest (for the purpose of numbers) Use Goblin Lackey. 2 Goblins first turn is rude.

As for cost:
The only reason it is so high is the Badlands. They can be replaced with any dual land that comes into play untapped. I prefer my Badlands, but then again, I already own them.

Dude, the point of the Worldgorger combo is that it creates an infinite mana loop. With that loop, I can use Ambassador Laquatus' Ability, Ghitu Fire, Volcanic Geyser, OR Vampiric Dragon to mill, burn, or kill mass amounts of creatures.

THAT IS THE ONE AND ONLY POINT OF A WORLDGORGER DECK.

If I wanted to run Iona, I would use better reanimate cards. The fact that I am using the enchantments is what makes this combo work. Try it like this.

I win 3rd turn nine times out of ten with this deck. I am capable of a first turn victory. AND I guarantee victory by turn five.
