For Sideboard 4x Thing in the Ice seems like a must honestly. Current meta has Emerge and Bant Company as 2 of the top 3 decks, so If you are against one, odds are they can outnumber you, so Thing in the Ice can wipe the board with ease by turn 4, which will screw up the tempo of Bant Company, and Likely cause Emerge to fall apart all together, also as a turn 2 0/4 defender it can help cushion other Aggro decks. As far as im concerned there is no reason for it to not be a 4 of unless you really need to keep the deck as low cost as possible. Other than that, i'd add burn spells. Lightning Axe, Fiery Temper ect. for picking apart Bant company and emerge before they snowball to a point where you can't break their line by turn 6, as well as to shut down opposing aggro, which is the best method of beating this deck as it stands. Possibly consider Dispel or Turn Aside for anyone playing cheap removal/ burn, but idk about that one, just a thought. I'd most likely do 4x Thing in the Ice and cheap burn. Just the option to completely shift gears in game two if they have faster aggro so you can beat them is solid

Cut ponder and preordain, add 3 islands, 2 anticipates (or something of that nature) then you have the extra lands and your deck is also modern legal instead of just legacy. Idk if you care, just a thought.

well 4 mana is literally one extra turn to wait, the main problem would be altering your lands to fit green mana in, which would throw your consistency way out of wack. If you did fit green in though, even though it is a 4 mana card, it can get you 6 mana worth of creatures out, so it is still really efficient.

wandering fumarole instead of the shivan reef? just seems, less obstructive..? Also if you do splash green for CoCo, you could possibly add something like equestrian skill, though it is 4 mana, which is above your mana curve. I imagine you made it cheap for a reason haha. Cool deck though!

Hey if you are using devotion to green to get infinite mana, id consider a Khalni Hydra too! You could play it down pretty cheap and ramp the mana from its cmc even more quickly? But I LOVE this deck! definitely going to play it some time! You could switch out your hornet queen for it, that is assuming I'm correct in believing that is there to increase the devotion to green?

He actually changed it up, it was strong before but with the new upgrades it is significantly better, or so i'm told. I believe he fit in a playset of Dark Petition, and Jace, Vryn's Prodigy?

Yeah, with Iron instead of copper, it looks like a solid deck to play.

This looks like fun to play, might I also recommend Burn From Within, and Avacyn's Judgement/Fiery Temper with Lightning Axe? That makes for some heavy combos too! Pyromancer's Goggles also goes good with such a deck
